Agree with this,with the caveat that Keown does have a tendency to get a bit panicked and swing with the wrong foot when under little pressure. He is really young for a centre half though and,when he irons these niggles out, will be too good for this league.

Bannigan is back in full training and is, theoretically,fit enough to play before the end of the season. Archie is leaving him til next season so he has a full preseason under his belt. This according to my old man who was speaking to him a couple of weeks ago in hospitality.

Unfortunately I'll be amazed if archie starts next season in charge. There must be quite a few teams taking a serious look at him. I'd be gutted for us but he really does deserve a big job,the man's a legend.
