  1. Yeah, that's why i left him out just wanted a comparison of managers with a decent amount of games in the champ. Wage bill is key though. I'd imagine GN's wage bill is the second lowest on that list.
  2. For me Naysmith has had to 'manage' in far more difficult circumstances in their qos spells than AJ. I've seen nothing in their respective managerial careers to date that suggests AJ is a better manager than GN. Random stats below as i was interested. Average qos ppg: Jim McIntyre = 1.56 Kenny Brannigan = 1.50 Gordon Chisholm = 1.44 Gary Naysmith = 1.44 James Fowler = 1.36 Gus Macpherson = 1.00 Stats from: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/
  3. Aw so it's bad management for us to sign a 30+ injury prone forward but also bad management for us not to sign a 30+ injury prone left back. I understand.
  4. People representing the club are in a no win situation if they come out and say "we've got around the 7th highest budget in the league so that's our barometer" the usual suspects would be accusing them of having no ambition. We had the 9th highest average attendace in the league last year so i can't complain with having the 7th higgest budget this season.
  5. I'm not sure it's worth reading into it in this much detail after the first quarter. Generally you'll find up to the 20-30 game mark the teams below you you've beat and the teams above you haven't. Looking back Morton at home is the only game I'm really disappointed with. Disappointed with yesterdays result but i was expecting a lot more from the pars so i'd have probably took a draw before the game. Ignoring performances, losing away to St Mirren, Dundee Utd and drawing away at Livi don't have me banging my head against the wall. That said I didn't and still don't expect us to finish 4th or above this season so maybe i've lower expectations.
  6. Remembered, Leon Knight. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leon_Knight Retired now, footballs loss.
  7. What was the name of the ex Chelsea nutter who briefly played for us under Chisholm (i think) before moving into the northern irish game. Had a mind blank.
  8. You're never far away with a negative story regarding Queens are you. Go and pester the council.
  9. A few years ago Scotland were playing in Norway and a small local team changed their usual kick off day/time to coincide with the visiting fans arrival. They got a couple of hundred extra fans for little effort. That's where my thinking came from regarding Heston etc, football fans like a bit of novelty value and away fans are a captive audience the longer they're at Palmerston the more money they'll spend.
  10. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30551135 ^ article about St Mirrens fan zone. It definitely wasn't a beer tent. [emoji6]
  11. Sorry i meant what's the incentive for a fan to go on to the website and subscribe. A newsletter or a pdf of the latest programme as an incentive may get a higher return.
