  1. After the cycle scheme year's up they contact you and ask you if you want to pay a one off fee for an extended three years lease. After the three years the bikes yours.

I got a road bike and helmet for £600, worked out about £30 a month ish, then had to pay a one off £16. So it's a worth while saving.

The maximum spend your allowed is a grand but you can buy accessories as well, helmet, lights, shoes, cleats etc. Wish I got more accessories at the time.

  2. Heard today. Kerr had his eye on being fowlers no2. When JT was given the nod his attitude changed and threw the toys out of the pram

When Kerr was initially helping Fowler out he seemed very enthusiastic and I fully expected him to be made his assistant when things got finalised.

When he didn't I assumed that it was Kerr's decision that he wanted to concentrate on playing.

    Perhaps not though.

As for the training, I'd be surprised if Fowler didn't know the score in regards to what's a good and bad session. I certainly wouldn't be taking Kerr's word for it in isolation.

  3. I'm old enough to answer this, and it's yes without a doubt.

What do posters mean when they say experienced?

I'm assuming they mean old or been about the coaching scene for a while I.e Chisholm, Brannigan, McCabe etc that's not really something that I'm bothered about.

I wouldn't mind if Fowler brought in someone of a similar background to himself, surely if you've been a player for 20+ years and have passed your coaching badges you're experienced enough.

The main/difficult thing would be finding someone who's ideas and philosophies gel with Fowlers but are unique enough to still bring something different to the table.

  4. As everyone know Queens have had a bad injury list all season but who would make way for the player who are currently out to come back into the squad?

For me it would be nice just to have a stronger bench to give us some more options in the later stages of games.

Can't remember where I read it (maybe Friday's Record?) but Burns has suffered a minor set back so won't be back till January at earliest.

Reading between the lines I'd assume this season Is a write off for Mitchell.

I probably wouldn't bother starting Paton unless the team were in a poor run of form, as there's no point shoehorning him in and upsetting regulars for a couple of games before his hamstring goes again.

  5. Sports reporters on BBC breakfast!

They talk to the hosts about what their main story is for 30 seconds saying something like 'oh didn't Wales do well last night, some goal from Bale to win it.' Then they turn to face the camera and start their spiel, 'Hello, Wales got off to a good start last night after Gareth Bale scored two goals to win the game 2-1.'

Every morning that's how they set their stories up, does my head in.
