  1. Hoping to visit the Horseshoe for the first time in two weeks for the visit of Oregon. Looking forward to a full stadium and my first tailgating experience, and it’s only a twenty minute walk from the hoose
  2. Yeah, I believe it would have been from the tackle that required him to get some treatment for in the first half. Looked at sore one
  3. Definitely another red card in this game. Rüdiger or Henderson for me
  4. I was out for dinner with some friends last night and we were talking about proof of vaccination as we need it for a wedding we're all attending in Kentucky next week, otherwise you need to wear a mask. They all showed their flimsy little piece of card that a 5 year old could've produced, and they were amazed at my NHS letter that I got before I buggered off over here. It would be incredibly easy to forge theirs
  5. 0-0 draw between Columbus and Nashville. An exciting game overall but lacked that bit of quality. Fantastic stadium though
  6. First time at the new Crew Stadium. Magic wee ground, 0-0 between the crew and Nashville.
  7. Heading to Columbus Crew - Nashville tonight at the new stadium. Will send some pictures in due course!
  8. It sounds like the camera crew are surrounded by a shite ton of snakes
  9. Haha I’m afraid not, unfortunately he’s called Martin
  10. Got married this morning. We decided it would just be me, the missus and her local pastor (for signing the document) as I couldn’t have any family or friends there. We’ll have a proper do next summer though
  11. I've been in the US for nearly two weeks and it's quite interesting to see how different things are in Ohio compared to Scotland. It kind of feels like there is no pandemic. Here are some of the differences I've noticed: - Very few folks are wearing masks, maybe under 10% of folks I've seen. Mask mandates were dropped for those who are fully vaccinated, but businesses etc. legally aren't allowed to ask if you've been vaccinated so they've just been binned by the majority. I've only worn my mask once since arriving and that's because I was seeing my niece for the first time - Every new person I've met has gone right in for a handshake or a hug. A lot of folks back home were still a bit wary of any human contact - Maybe unsurprising, but a lot of folks I've met here have mentioned that they've tested positive since the pandemic started. I only know 2 people in the UK who've tested positive. Also, a lot more folks here have no interest in getting the vaccine - We are going to a baseball game this weekend, full stadium and no masks needed. Not my favourite sport, but I'm buzzing to be in a crowded stadium - You can just rock up at a bar/restaurant with no booking and no time limit. No form to fill in when you get there either If I wasn't fully vaccinated I may be a bit more wary, but honestly it's magic just being able to live a completely normal life again
  12. I had a PCR test at the Express Test place at Edinburgh airport for a flight last week. They said I was guaranteed the results by 10pm the following day, but I received my results in just 4 hours. Not bad at all
  13. I guess hole would the most accurate choice there haha. I’m getting married, then applying for my green card
  14. I left Edinburgh this morning to move to the US. Sat having a beer watching the game in Detroit airport, then one more flight to Columbus. Ohio has lifted all its restrictions, can’t bloody wait
  15. Cheers sir! I’m afraid I’ve got a face for radio so you won’t be graced with my shite patter on the TV...
  16. Due to COVID I haven’t seen my missus in Ohio for nearly 15 months. This morning a top boy from Royal Mail delivered a package from the US embassy with my passport and shiny K1 visa in it. Looking at flying out next week, then getting married a few weeks later
  17. It might just be me but I disagree that it was a natural position for the handball. I could understand one arm being raised as he makes his lunge forward, but to have both up like that was a bit odd.
  18. They just need to back to the old badge then all is well! I’m hoping to be there for the first game in their new Stadium at the start of July.
  19. I was on the train back from London yesterday and it was pretty toasty. The carriage I was in was maybe 10% full so a few folks had their masks off, so I decided to take mines off for a bit too. I’m sure some folks will think I’m a cretin for such behaviour but I didn’t see the harm when I was several rows away from the nearest person. I’m fully vaccinated too, and nobody would’ve had my seat after me as the train was pretty much empty with only 1 stop left. I would’ve behaved differently on a crowded service, though
  20. Just had my second dose of AZ, in and out of the doctors in less than a minute. Bloody magic.
  21. Exactly, I made the same point on a YouTube video. The first logo was certainly different compared to most teams, but I feel people respected it more because it was so unique. The Crew jerseys I have all have the second logo and I’m a fan of it. The clubs owner said they are separating the Crew from the name so that they can stand alone. What utter drivel, and at a ridiculous time when they’re about to move into their new ground
