I think when you are judging a player's spell at a club and somehow discounting, or mitigating, an 18 month spell of complete shiteness, because he was decent in some of the other seasons is madness. Clark is a competent keeper at this level, no more no less. Scotland keeper at a major tournament? If that somehow was to happen we're fucked, absolutely fucked.
Nice shiny floor in his living room though.

Here’s a thought! What’s Oli Burke doing these days? Surely he has a gaff in Germany, so that’s a bonus.
You hoping to crash there?

What does it say for St Johnstone that Craig Levein is your manager!

As a neutral who couldn't really give a f**k either way, I think it was offside and I wouldn't moan if it was against my club.
The new manager looks like an Aberdeen appointment, foreign but not of an elite level, bit like half the squad ironically.

Mitov has plus points but he also has a fair few bad points as well. Whether that's because of the players in front of him I'm not quite sure, there must be a reason he has been playing for Cambridge and ourselves for the last few years.
He has been one of our better players this season but that's not biggest of compliments TBF.

I think I said after your awful performance against us a few weeks back that Sidibeh looked like the one player in the team that was impressive and an absolute wild card. Dangerous, lively, a wee bit raw or rash but a proper pain in the arse so it's not really a shock to see him kick on and do well.
f**k knows how you could gather that from the worst performance I've seen in years. Every and I mean every player was absolutely shite.

Bit early, who's going to sit in a stand for four days.
They'd do anything for a sight of Adama.

Important game for both teams for different reasons. Killie have really impressed me this season and I would take a draw right now.
Aye, they have several decent players, seems like they'll have a few fans with them as well. Let's pump these fuckers.

We've maybe 150 tickets left out the away section of the main stand. I assume they'll just open behind the goals when it sells out as it defo will in the next day or so.
If there is an appetite for it St Johnstone will cash in on it. Now if we could just get Ghostie to do the pre match lunch for your players that would be great.

It could be argued yesterday at 1-1 was the same, but we got away with it.
I wanted Kimpioka on earlier yesterday, then he came on and was complete pish.

I am still really struggling to buy into this manager and this squad. I just can't see what the plan is. Are we really setting out to play as little football as we do?
We defended alright yesterday (goal was poor) but still needed some big saves from Mitov. And our opener was fine in a performance where you are solid and look to hit on the break but there will always be opportunities in games to actually move the ball about and we just don't do it.
I feel Levein hides behind chat about confidence a lot but I just don't see how him and Kirk are trying to set us up. It was hard to even tell yesterday if we were (as I thought) a back four - but with no width - or, as the manager referenced post-game a back three.
I understand he's not going to talk about making big changes in the summer when there is still work to do with this group but that doesn't excuse the style of play, or lack of. There is no identity and that's what we are crying out for.
You're not looking hard enough, or choosing not to. You can see it without the use of graphs but in this case Random has explained some of it.
The downsides are there for all to see as well but I think this is in part due to the type of players we have, which in turn gives opposition managers plenty to work with. Keltjens, Gallacher and Max are particularly guilty of standing off or not tracking runners. Next week will be a big test because of the spaces left in the wide areas and the players Killie have that can hurt you. I think he'll change it but obviously it will still be long punts upfield for our strikers to run onto, that's one thing that won't change.

If we stay then Levein taking that gamble on them is likely the main reason.
That's arguably 9pts we've picked up since January that we don't get with pre-January strikers.
Any manager could see it needed changing, f**k we've all been saying for years(banter page excluded)we needed new strikers. Not sure how much of a gamble it was though when you look into their backgrounds. It's exactly the type we should be going for.

Hearts fans coming on here looking for a Levein angle? It's not always about you you c***s. Ask some Hibs fans about how many times, usually in important games, that Saints have pumped them in.

Another avoidable goal conceded. Hibs maybe should've had a penalty when Mitov came out for the ball and kinda missed, very nearly two f**k ups in two games but he redeemed himself with a couple of those saves in the second half. Then again, that Obita was very lucky not to receive a second yellow for a blatant arm across the face.
See when you're used to Stevie May and Chris Kane skying one on ones? it's so, so refreshing to have Adama and Kimpioka slotting them away in style. Onwards and upwards fellow Saints.

This sale feels like as good a time as any to take leave of St Johnstone and to start following Jeanfield. I'd be disappointed if they signed Cammy MacPherson never mind Saints. Perma crock passenger.
Black and White strips? You make me sick.

I've come to the conclusion Cammy McPherson is a grass. It's the only conceivable reason so many managers like him.

3 strikers is about as positive as it gets. I admit I slightly slipped with the midfield chat but I'm so, so reassured I have you there to keep me in check. Thanks pal.

Play the three of them and drop Max or one of the other nothing midfielders.

Was that St Mirren game that they keep going on about in his first spell?
If so I agree, he was brilliant in his first spell.
