  1. Please will someone break ranks and say what the true supporters, those of us who follow our local teams actually think! Just because its always been this way does not mean it has to stay this way for ever. I'd take less TV money and a lower standard of football for a few years and then see a proper competitive league without any bigotry any day ahead of the embarrasment of a product we have just now where 10 teams are too scared to say or do anything that upsets the establishment that is the "infirm". The media are the same.
  2. At least they did not go as far as Dundee and make the interviewer the CEO. Fat Harry went from a keyboard warrior to CEO at Dundee quicker than he could eat 5 pies following his Dundee mad interview with Calum "billionaire" Melville.
  3. We have a Catholic family, several church of Scotland families and many non church members in our company. Like many things the BB has moved with the times but does still have a strong "Christian" background. In Perth one of the company's is tied to the salvation army, with all the rest being attached to Church of Scotland churches.
  4. Fair enough. The one legacy of Murray may be that he tried to make your team non denominational, against the wishes of some but I am sure in time this will be the one positive that he may be remembered for.
  5. Both the main stand the stand on the other side at Highbury were listed, hence the design as shown in the picture above. I think that looks very smart. I think Villa took down the old main stand but built something similar behind the Holt end. The old main stand . The new holt end.
  6. Why would UEFA stop you having a church parade?. Perhaps if some of the "minority" went to a church on a Sunday they would possibly learn something. Why would UEFA stop you working with the Boys Brigade? As a BB company captain we are not a single faith organisation and are open to people of all or no faiths. Yes there is a Christian background but its non denominational (mainly Church of Scotland) and the only BB event I have been to in Glasgow was hosted by your rivals from the East End of the city. The problem with the "minority" is they confuse their history and bigotry with true religion. That's where the former chairman fell down.
  7. Gary Macdonald ‏ @GMacdonald67 Full Rangers youth setup pulled in to Murray Park for a talk about "Life After Football" from PFA. No one willing to pay 12k for youth?. I assume he is of the green persuasion with that name but it would not surprise me if that was one option that would certainly happen today.
  8. Can someone please point me in the direction of where I can buy a new F5 key as i've now broken the one on my works PC looking at this thread.
  9. Updates from Twitter Douglas Fraser ‏ @BBCDouglsFraser Stand by for more on #Rangers - not only about cuts to the playing squad, but also about that £24m Ticketus deal. Also lots of use of the word liquidate but I am sure that's just a rumour.
  10. With regard to the "Charity match" the biggest irony of the whole thing is the Rangers team will in the majority be made up of players who have been paid via EBT's, possibly managed by someone who was paid via EBT's Up until Now Smith had been very very quiet on the whole thing. Does the phrase "Walter knew" spring to mind and he is in some way as responsible for the mess as is Murray and Whyte. Now if some of these former players loved the club as much as they say they do then could they not give some of this money back to Rangers? If they make it to the end of March it will be so funny to watch the supporters turn up to watch the players who's greed got them into this mess doing their bit to help Rangers.
  11. During the debate into this afternoons statements from Whyte and the administrators both Jim Traynor and Chick Young both said there were things that would come out in the next few days that would shock Rangers fans. When liquidation was mentioned Traynor said something along the lines of that wont happen and that history would not be lost but something would come out that would. Has Whyte sold the naming rights to Ibrox? I cannot think of anything else that would break a historic link and cause Rangers fans to be shocked.
  12. Perhaps some of the Dundee fans on here will remember more about this, but I am sure something was said about the SFA/SFL wanting to warn clubs that using tax money to fund a short fall would end up with penalties such as the 25 point deduction the Dens park mob got last season. No doubt the SPL will not have signed up to such a rule.
  13. This afternoons game will play a big part in deciding if the cup is coming to Vancouver. A win would make every game sudden death for the Bruins
  14. Is enjoying watching Fat Harry making a mess of running Dundee

  15. His contract was over, now he has gone home!

  16. A bit of a missed opportunity for Vancouver in game two but hopefully we can win games 3 and 4
  17. id advise McDougall to watch who he is hacking off at present as he has a lot of baggage as do the others who have taken over at Livingston. its like the Dens board room which for years was a magnet for attracting crooks
  18. Well said I am glad you are going to play the game and hopefully Gordon McDougall will pay you the £5000 they are now due you for failing to appear on the first day of the season.
  19. I hope every fan in the country backs East Stirling in this case. Livingston should be made the pay East Stirling compensation for the loss of income in August, Pay Stenhousmuir for the rent on Wednesday and lets get the game played I don't think they should be fined the 15 points due to the exceptional circumstances in August if they compensate Shire and Stenhousmuir. Lets have promotion won on the pitch (by teams that actually pay for their players and other costs)
  20. Well done Doncaster Rovers. I love it when the underdog wins Leeds will be back. i remember going to see Leeds v Villa in the Cantona days, how things have changed I just hope Leeds don't have a play off hangover season like they did in 2006/07
