  1. It's a bit of a conundrum for folk who have pals (some with season tix) but are under the 200 point threshold. With the general sale allowing 4 tickets (even with the high prices) I wouldn't be that surprised if they are all sold out in a two or three days.
  2. Any wise person care to hazard a guess how many people have over 200 points and can access the first batch of ticket sales?
  3. Yes. I would hope that if AFC played Kilmarnock in a final that we'd be sensible enough to support a 50-50 split (fans and club).
  4. Right enough, McGarry was back training in the clips released yesterday. The position might be his to lose for Hampden.
  5. The real crisis in Scottish education is that no one in the G11 postcode seems to have a fucking scooby what neutral means.
  6. Maybe, though it sounded like he was a long way from returning. Mind you, there are 6 weeks til the final.
  7. I feel like I'm getting towards the final straw on Twitter, with the readmission of Katie Hopkins being the latest thing. Has anyone dabbled with Blue Sky or the other alternatives?
  8. So MacKenzie is suspended for the final. I suppose we can keep the same formation and play Hayes at LWB, or go four at the back and play Jensen at left-back. Not sure of any other reasonable option? (notwithstanding possible injuries between now and then)
  9. 2E and F are fine. 90 mins should be no bother all being well.
  10. The play-offs in those days were mad - a third deciding game in Lisbon.
  11. Yes, similar to BA, 31 or 32". Watch your connection at T2 in Paris, can occasionally be a ballache if not within the same part.
  12. We flew Icelandair for our trip to the US 10 years ago. They were fine, but bear in mind almost all their planes are still Boeing 757s, and fairly old (due to be replaced in next 3 years). Some people find 8 or 9 hours on a narrow-body plane a bit much, even if you're not fussed by meals and seat back TVs. Southwest and Delta were fine for us domestically, suspect United and American would be similar, as long as you watch the hold baggage restrictions. As mentioned, I would avoid Frontier/Spirit unless you are saving a daft amount of money. Other tip - don't do a day trip to Yosemite from SF, it's too rushed. Muir Woods and Sausalito was more fun.
  13. AFCHereWeGo mentioned recently that the Liverpool coverage had been uploaded https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CY9GzAoYTZs
  14. it's pretty much the posture he adopted for that (non) clearing header versus PAOK.
  15. The only way I can see us gaining a measure of control in midfield is to play Barron, Shinnie and Clarkson together. But I don’t think we have the players to go 4-2-3-1 , particularly with Duk in such dire form. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the 5-4-1 on display for the next 2 games.
  16. Didn’t have a problem with Polvara and Miovski being subbed, but the Barron one was baffling, no sign he was injured? [edit: Robson said post match that Polvara and Barron were both struggling] Positives: McKenzie has taken 4 years to become an overnight success, Polvara finishes like Duk used to, McGrath was very good again and Rubezic played very well for 92 minutes. Negatives: the last 15 minutes making me feel I wanted to jump in the North Sea, if only because it would guarantee that I would never have to watch another ****ing AFC match ever again
  17. A major lack of co-ordination between Traffic Scotland and the impacted councils. The boss of TS (or their boss) is okay with the message going out: "we can't recommend a diversion because they aren't our roads". The A93 is fine for cars, so no idea why this route isn't being publicised, rather than effectively sending more vehicles on damaged back-roads around Brechin and Laurencekirk. (by the sounds of things it is taking up to 3 hours from Perth to Aberdeen at the moment so it might actually be quicker) A couple of journalists have tweeted today that the A90 might be closed for several weeks.
  18. The way that the A90 diversions have been handled is a shambles, to put it politely
  19. What’s the next date this game can be fitted in. Into next year?
  20. unlikely it will get downgraded, but not unheard of. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-48621665#product-navigation-menu
  21. I wouldn't be that surprised if they wait til Saturday morning to make a final decision. It won't impact 99% of the fans if they decide at 10am tomorrow rather than today.
  22. The police have the A90 tightly monitored so the best option is to take the A93 back road and arrange a meet up at the Glenshee chairlift.
