Aberdeen v St. Johnstone (If anyone cares)

It was late, but but poorly-timed rather than malicious. You'd be pretty unlucky to get a red for it. -

How on earth did Clarkson remain on the pitch while Polvara and Barron were subbed? I thought he was miles off it. Gartenmann and McGrath played well, not sure anyone else in red played that well, but still could/should have won 3-0 if Bojan was in better form. -

44 years ago today at Easter Road. Was part of the terracing being renovated or was this very cautious policing? -

I think Hayes is out of contract next month. Was on the bench at the weekend. -

Mark Benstead I think. -
I've seen a lot of people turn left using the right lane on that approach. Wrong, but I suppose 75% of the traffic from the 2 lanes is going south towards Stirling. In general, that junction is dire now, got slowly worse over the last 10-15 years.

On that note, Braverman making a fool of herself on the radio earlier today. She didn't even watch the whole clip. Truss is a laughing stock, but I think Braverman might be even more dangerous. https://www.independent.co.uk/tv/news/suella-braverman-gideon-falter-today-programme-b2532495.html

The full 13 minute clip of the encounter between Mr Falter and the police gives a bit more context to the incident. https://news.sky.com/story/i-was-jewish-and-crossing-the-street-campaigner-criticises-outrageous-reaction-to-antisemitism-row-13120776

oof: A woman who suffered brain damage after falling off a pier has failed in a £600,000 compensation bid after a judge branded her a "regular liar". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-68789732 Short version: she was entitled to £370k after a fall, but judge found that she had exaggerated the impacts, so awarded her nothing

In Devon, and not a campsite, but we stayed here in 2022 and really enjoyed it. More suitable for younger kids (ours were 8 and 4 at the time). https://www.torridgehouse.co.uk/ There are two theme parks aimed at families a bit further north on the A39.

Possibly old-fashioned, but I think a manager should be living in the city (or close by), particularly if they are on a salary of 200k+. It doesn't given any sense of permanence. Goodwin was commuting, not the main reason he failed, but it didn't help. Player-wise we had the Jackie McNamara experience.

off to Belgium next month, had planned to go to Standard Liege vs Leuven, did the research on where to park, nearest train station etc On their ticketing website next to the game it says, "match à huis-clos"...turns out that they've to play this match behind closed doors due to problems in a game against Anderlecht earlier this season, FFS. Plan B might be Sporting Charleroi. Had really wanted to go to Anderlecht, but the dates don't work out.

In a normally refereed game sans VAR I don’t think either is given as handball. -
The logical follow-up by Hibs is now to reward well-behaving away supports with a larger allocation, those who spend their time being morose, rather than malevolent.

Who on earth does Cormack appoint if Warnock does get booted? Leven apparently doesn't want it. An ex-player to try and get a very short term-boost (Black or McLeish)? Or someone who hasn't had a sniff of a job in a long time and would take a job for 2 months (Lennon?) I wouldn't advocate for any of the above but I can't see what other direction he goes in.
