  3. I think you missed the hidden dig which was that the Easdale Bros take no prisoners and it is alleged some business dealings are dubious - a competitor firm who wouldn't sell out suddenly had a fire at the depot. A premise which the bought but was refused planning permission for a change to flats suddenly self-ignited............... If what you say is true then I want to take this opportunity to welcome them to the fold. And I am a Raith Rovers Supporter. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  4. This is from a Rovers supporter. Have a number of issues with the statement but it is not the time to get ocd about the rallying call. Fair play two major breaks with Scottish Football Traditio and from the Pars fans have been used two over the years; 1. Communication and to a large degree transparency. 2. A clear vision. Well done, hope you pull through. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Pie & Bovril mobile app
  5. Looks like you guys are getting back on track then, although I hear the Cowden fans may be bringing a packed lunch. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Pie & Bovril mobile app

  7. Agree welcome to The Mighty Raith. Surprised but actually positive about this. Undoubtedly first year in management was going to be difficult. Murray has made mistakes but this week's team shape, performance and this signing is positive.
  8. If reconstruction goes ahead make it a drop of 31, as I will not be going.
  9. A tribute to Gavin One afternoon a banker was riding in his limousine when he saw two men along the road-side eating grass. Intrigued, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate. He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass?" "We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass." "Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you," the banker said. "But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there, under that tree." "Bring them along," the banker replied. Turning to the other poor man he stated, "You may come with us, also." The second man, in a pitiful voice, then said, "But sir, I also have a wife and SIX children with me!" "Bring them all as well," the banker answered. They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine was. Once under way, one of the poor fellows turned to the banker and said, "Sir, you are too kind." "Thank you for taking all of us with you. The banker replied, "Glad to do it. "You'll really love my place. The grass is almost a foot high!"
  10. £12m due in 30 years means £400k per year - scary and that is only half the debt. Not getting at you but this is the reality of how you fans have been shafted.
  11. Hope you salvage something. But how do you service £21 million debt.
  12. By my reckoning: £450k trade creditors, £130k tax bill £8.4m to directors £12m on East End. Total £21m WTF
  13. Despite being a Rovers fan I do not want the Pars to go bust. The mismanagement of Scottish football is staggering. Celtic, hours away fron goung bust, Rangers, Motherwell, Hearts, Airdrie, Gretna, Dundee, Livi et al. This is due to incompetent stewardship of clubs/business. At the same ti e as blowing large sums of money on wages the Scottish National team has plumbed the depths of failure, non qualification and sinking FIFA rankings. These are also the people who again are telling us that reconstruction will be the solution. No wonder attendances are on a downward spiral. Where are the football authorities ( SFA, UEFA) in all this. If this was any other industry there would be a public enquiry, people disbarred from being directors and prosecutions. Football was and is part of the fabric of communties and culture in Scotland. Rant over.
  14. How do you earn a small fortune in Scottish Football? Start with a large fortune.
  15. Or funeral directors. Speaking of which Crosbie Matthews are the ball sponsors.
  16. Maybe Mastering is in Switzerland withdrawing a few quid to bale DAFC out and become their saviour. Feck me a flying pig just shit on my heid.
  17. Suggestion: glue the letterbox closed at EEP. It will stop DAFC getting HMRC order and other bills.
  18. Agree, who outside Scotland would know the 3rd division name Newco.
  19. Sounds grim, even more so since two sides seem miles apart. Ball sponsors on Saturday are Crosbie Matthew Funeral Directors - an omen?
  20. Just done a quick calculation. RRFC would give ticket price less VAT to DAFC. RRFC would pay VAT to HMRC. Net ticket price will be £14.15. If 3,000 Pars supporters turn up that will be £14,150 to DAFC Steering Group. IMO a good way for Pars supporters to show unity to Jim Leishman and the survival of their club.
  21. Brechin may have to get relegated this season if you want to play Dunfermline next season.
  22. Thanks for providing additional witty ditty's for us to sing. Seriously good luck with the magic wand.
  23. Rovers have announced they will donate some proceeds from Saturdays game to Jim Leishmans Steering Group. Well done RRFC. I hope this encourages Pars fans to attend and I hope it is not the last derby game. Of course normal banter will be resumed come 3 o clock. Cmon the Mighty Raith.
