Stand up comedy would be a welcome change of pace.

One of my most favourite conversations, what are everyone's favourite bridges? -
I am surprised at the lack of resistance from Partick supporters on the scarf giveaway. Provides he has a knowledge of Scottish football, a stranger will know that wearers are Partick supporters and with reference to a fixture list will then know where you are on a given Saturday leading to potential burglaries or stalkings.

I, for one, commend our overlords for their decision made in the interest of public safety. Long to reign over us. -
I don't want to see the club make any January signings unless they are similar to January 2015's Michael Tidser signing. That is to say a quality player on at least an eighteen-month contract as this season only holds at the very best a fourth-placed finish and we are incapable of winning the playoffs. Our start meanwhile, coupled with the incompetency of other clubs, has us safe from relegation. Therefore the rest of this season is irrelevant and so I really don't want to see us waste what little funds we have. The summer is a different scenario though as, while it will doubtless be competitive as ever, the division should allow for a more realistic chance for promotion in one form or the other.

No, it's in a pair of fifteen pound sterling socks before retiring to bed for the evening. -

I want to apologise if anyone felt I was being accusatory to them, but i do have concerns about this kind of thing. The point I was going to go on to make - as someone who hasn't had the Facebook - was wether these things make us more judgemental about people and see them as 'less human' as it's done online. I thought it was particularly relevant given from what I've read here as one of the most common annoyances being people putting on grief at world events, if we look past possible cries for help on the same site - in a country with a problem with suicide - we're in danger of overlooking them because their post isn't cool it hash tagged the right way. -

Speak for yourself dimwit. Callous and a moron, you'd be little loss from the gene pool. -

Serious question: did you make any efforts to help this person you clearly think is having a hard time of it and is presumably someone you like enough to do Facebook with? That's directed at the three or four of you who made light of a potential suicide, not just the poster I've quoted. -

Jason Garrett has been coaching Dallas for six seasons? Jeez life is passing quickly.

Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

The phrase "I could care less" being said. I could combust in response. -
Are you serious? They 'helped' him for all of nine weeks, they publicly shunned him in that time, broke his confidentiality by discussing his case in public and offered him a sham contract. Worst of all, financial considerations have been prioritised over the wellbeing of their employee? Hung out to dry? You're being kind pal, you'd be treated better in Victorian London. But I expect nothing less from a club who have often shown little regard for human life.

Good grief, leave the personal insults at the homepage. I believe there is a personal conduct policy to use this site. McMillan broke the rules and is a cheat. What the effects were are completely irrelevant. As a cheat we can only assume he was cheating in 12-13 and indeed his whole career as well as casting heavy suspicion on that entire dressing room.

There's going to be a few people who lose their jobs out of this. I have always thought that Goodell is a decent fella, and that some of the difficult amd unpopular things he's implemented come from moral/letigious reasons, but the organisation is now completely discredited and he'll end up going. He's very popular with the owners, and is basically their senior administator and I'm sure they'll support him as long as they can but the Government will get in on this and they'll be forced kicking and screaming into reform. They're starting to look like FIFA and the revelation that they have had this information casts doubt on everything they've stated and decided in recent times from their concussion lawsuit to drug use amongst their players. And then the Ravens will have casualties too. It's serendipitous that in the same week that Penn State have their sanctions stemming from a criminal matter revoked, the NFL faces great damage over another criminal matter that ultimately never proceeded. It just raises an interesting question about whether sports should police themselves. After all, why aren't the police and courts being hammered for not having this piece of imprisoned with such evidence?
