He could and should have played at a higher level, but he was playing Junior level until he was 26. He was one of the most inspired signings we have ever made though, and is my favourite ever Ayr United player. A bonafide club legend.

Our country owes pretty much everything to immigration. People have been coming to and settling on these islands for millennia. If you go back far enough, we're all descendants of immigrants.
Which all makes the vitriol from some quarters towards immigrants all the more fucking stupid.
A multitude of factors:
- some people just have an inexplicable aversion to supporting their local club so will not go to games no matter what the club does.
- the cost of living.
- whenever we get a bigger crowd, the team usually shits the bed or the game is a poor spectacle.
- an aesthetically unattractive style of football.
- poor engagement with the local area.
