Finished The Plot Against America last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend it if anyone is looking for something to read. Just bought Wolf Among Wolves by Hans Fallada. I enjoyed Alone In Berlin (which is about a middle-aged couples' small protest against the Nazi regime - based on a true story apparently), and I wanted to read more of his work.

The Twilight Sad album indeed sounds very good. I'm having my first listen of it just now.

Emotions run high when you support a football team which leads to criticisms which may or may not be OTT. I don't think our fans are any better or any worse than other teams fans.

This is the worst Ayr performance I've ever seen. I don't think even Mark Roberts or Robert Connor's Ayr United teams would have lost that game. At no point while watching that game did I believe we were going to win. Without Shankland, Forrest and Adams this team is garbage. With the exceptions of Smith and Moffat I would be happy to never see most of the team that started today play for Ayr again. Fair play to Talbot. They're local to me and I have alot of Talbot supporting friends (who I shall be avoiding for the forseeable future), but the ineptitude of that Ayr performance was much more of a factor in the result than the Talbot performance.

Since passing my test in October last year, tailgaters, cyclists and tractor drivers have moved to the top of my death list.

That is actually a cracking idea. I used to love Ayr town centre but like a lot of town centres it has gone right down the shitter in the past decade or so, which is a terrible shame.
