  1. But to get back on topic; hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
  2. With regard to Belfast, I moved there three years ago and Scottish football is routinely mocked over here. Almost everyone follows the EPL, Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool are all far more popular than Celtic and Rangers put together. And that's from both sides of the divide. There are definitely some Celtic and Rangers fans over here but they are a minority and to be honest they tend to be the worst examples of both. Utter arseholes, nasty, bigoted, thick and vicious. Everything that is wrong with the support of both sides is exaggerated and celebrated over here. I don't even go to the pub to watch games anymore cause most of the Celtic supporters over here make me want to puke and as for travelling to the games with these clowns, forget it. The Rangers ones seem to be even worse, back in Glasgow I know loads of bears that are good guys but over here they ALL seem to be the Vanguard Bear types, covered in UVF tattoos and attempting to hold the city hostage with their protests. Its horrible.
  3. The "our ancestors lived here thousands of years ago" argument certainly opens up options for a whole lot of people around the planet.
  4. Yeah, I thought John Carter was not bad too. Always nice to see British actors cast as the baddies.
  5. Watched Grabbers last night, fairly amusing for a British\Irish comedy horror. Pretty light on the horror but funny enough if you've had a few.
  6. This is good news is it not? Coupled with the supposed £24m payout it means that some of the local people and businesses that lost out might get some of their money back. Rangers are still dead, newco are still on dangerous ground financially and the real victims (the people Rangers left in the lurch) may get something back.
  7. Posting your PIC is indeed fucking outrageous, what message is that sending? I've had run ins with their sort myself, I always assumed they saved all their vitriol for people like me with the audacity to have a foreign name. Never thought it was actually as bad as that when it came to infighting amongst the bears. You guys are buggered if that is what you can expect from your fellow fans.
  8. What have you started? We deserve to know. Anything that annoys those loonies on VB is good.
  9. So who buys the shares? Can't see many Rangers fans feeling the need to line the boards pockets. What do you think Tedi? You don't seem like you would want to be involved in that, might be wrong there. Institutional investors might be dubious too given the costs\losses to date. Will it be a big tug at the heart strings of the fans? Even then will a third share issue be required to get close to Celtic once Rangers are in the prem? And surely nobody will fall for it a third time.
  10. 17000? That's not going to be enough is it? Even if they were all full price that would only just about cover player wages and bog all else. Why do you say mostly yoofs?
  11. Sorry if this is a bit on topic but has anyone seen convincing looking figures for season ticket sales?
  12. If you want your club "back" why don't you buy it? You might have heard of the concept, you pay for the thing you want rather than stamp your feet and demand to be given it. Just a thought.
  13. I'd like to congratulate which ever one of you guys posted the Prince Harry for Rangers manager bit. Very good.
  14. I've asked this before but sometimes posts get lost in the he said, she said shite that periodically derails this thread. What is the actual split with the Rangers supporters groups? Is it ego based, are there actual reasons or is it just Judean People's Front vs People Front of Judea stuff. Not taking the piss, I really don't get it.
  15. I tend to agree with you about the timescale. I just don't see Rangers fading to mid-table as some folk suggest. With the second biggest budget and a manager who has a clue it should be just a matter of time. What I was getting at was that many Rangers fans have been brought up on success after success. For them the adjustment to how things were before DM poured money into the club may be hard.
  16. True but the reason Rangers were able to bring top England internationals to Ibrox was the European ban. Surely you don't think that will be the case again? What I was getting at is that the pre DM years are hardly something most Rangers fans would aspire to. Unless you think tht football from 50 years ago is somehow relevant.
  17. I know I'm a wee bit late to this point but were Rangers not pretty pish in the decades leading up to the Murray era?
  18. This has to filed under "too good to be true". It would be just about the funniest thing ever. The rage, the tears, the show CW the red card campaign. Too good to be true. Sadly.
  19. It does seem like a sensible suggestion Dasodaha made. How long is left on his contract?
