  1. With regard to a fan take over. If I were an unscrupulous scumbag I'd be inclined to let it been known I'd be interested in selling up at the end of the season meanwhile squeeze the club/company for every penny I could over the next few months. Get the ST money in, bag some large bonus payments, maybe loan the club/company some cash at an eye watering rate of interest. Then when it's truely buggered dump the shares onto the fan base and leave them to sort out the mess. But something like that could beer happen, could it?
  2. Jesus, this is terrible news. What if Ally resigns? They could end up with someone competent.
  3. I've got a feeling that there will not be an admin event this season. Think about it. There is still a stack of cash to be re-routed from the fans pockets to the spivs. The season ticket money is going to be available soon. I'm guessing a high interest, short-term loan will be found to tide them over. Only a cynic would suggest a board member or associate of theirs will provide that loan...
  4. I'm possibly asking in the wrong place but what is the split between the Rangers fans groups? I assume it existed before the liquidation so what's the problem between the groups?
  5. Getting rid of Ally would be the one of the best things Rangers could do. There are plenty of managers who would be able to get the necessary promotions on half the money spent. How much patience has he earned from the fans? You guys go to the games so you probably have a better handle on the level of expectation for once the club are in the SPL. Will it be win it first time or else? Or a couple of seasons grace. My own opinion is that you could give him 10 goes and he'd still not win it, especially if Celtic get there act together and get a better manager themselves.
  6. Ok, so there are at least a few saleable assets in case thing do turn out to be as bad as feared by some/ hoped for by others. If you are looking to sell to the championship market (probably your best bet as I don't think too many EPL sides would take a chance on lower league Scottish players since they rarely take that chance on ones from there own league) then surely it would be six figure sums at best. I'm basing this on how much below what we considered the value of our players we received and the fact the buyers could be in a very strong position. What's this about the scouting network? Is it actually nonexistent or does it just feel like it?
  7. A wee question for the sensible bears. Assuming the financial situation is not good, it may be prudent to sell some players to raise a bit of cash/cut the wage budget. Who would generate good money for you, where would you expect to see them go and roughly what do you think your players would be worth? I obviously don't mean to which clubs but EPL, Championship, Europe etc.
