  1. Maybe I've misunderstood. I think having a leadership election is a bad move for the SNP. Maybe it'll end up in a coronation of someone. To me, it made more sense to get their ducks in a row and have someone ready to step in. They've possibly got that and I have no idea what I'm talking about.
  2. Yeah, that'll be right. They should've arranged someone (the likes of Swinney) to step in though. They'll have another out in the open, leadership election, where they'll probably tear shreds off each other. Edit to include: I'm guessing Swinney was asked and said no.
  3. Staying on while they have a leadership election doesn't seem like a wise move.
  4. This is how I see it. Bolton has to be stronger there. Couldn't fault him for the first goal - that's unlucky, but he needs to do better at the second. Disappointing l, as I thought over the piece we actually defended quite well. Dessers didn't get much change out of Gogic all game. Just two daft errors that cost us.
  5. I'm curious to know who these people are.
  6. I listened to James O'Brien's podcast earlier, where he interviewed Caroline Lucas. I've always been pretty impressed with her, and I was again listening to it. Intelligent, thoughtful, interesting, humble. She seems like she'd be an easy person to work with. Then I thought about the absolute clowns in charge of the Scottish Greens. Actual morons, who love the sound of their own voice, that think they are far more important and capable than they are. Andy Wightman was an intelligent and formidable guy for the Scottish greens but other than that, they're either idiots or no marks.
  7. Poor for the first goal today. The second one too, although Bolton fell into him. He still had a few decent saves. I think he's had a good season overall, I'd be happy enough if he was still here next season.
  8. We'd need to win some games first. Played well today but ultimately no points.
  9. Sore one there. Sloppy defending has cost us. Rangers were there for the taking today.
  10. Cant take someone out at head height and complain that a foul is given.
  11. Must be some money laundering or something going on. He is absolutely dog shit.
  12. Such a disappointing goal to lose, as Rangers had only really threatend with shots from outside the box. Rangers look don't look like they're up for a scrap here, so we need to keep getting at them.
  13. That's a couple of crosses Hemming has flapped at so far. Looks shaky.
  14. When I heard Kettlewell describing it on the radio I pictured something similar to Yang's sending off against Celtic. Then watching it this morning, you could maybe quibble over whether it's a yellow or a red, but it's a poor challenge. All the patter about Kettlewell 'speaking well' and 'being honest', is a lot of nonsense. He talks pish and uses 100 words when he could use 10.
  15. They've just put a wee montage of, presumably what they think is, the best bits of Sportsound this season. It was essentially 2 mins of clips of them bickering.
  16. My guess is that many in the Greens can see that Yousaf isn't that popular and they wanted an out. If he'd been riding high in the polls they'd have swallowed the climate targets being ditched.
  17. One thing I picked up on when Harvie spoke was that he said, the SNP members had rejected the right of the party. I mean, he might be technically right, but Forbes still picked up nearly half the vote, despite being quite open about her feelings on same sex marriage and abortion.
  18. Can't imagine there will be a queue of people willing to pay them that sort of salary again.
  19. He should've got rid of the Greens weeks ago, this was always likely to happen. If he had, he might have come out with a bit of credibility with the wider public. Also, is it just me or does Yousaf sound so patronising when he speaks? Like someone who's gone into a primary school to talk about their job. I've just had to turn the radio off. For a career politician who'll have had no end of media training, he's not very good at it.
  20. At least then we could all be raging together. That would feel quite natural at least.
  21. I'd imagine they'll stick with the team that kept a clean sheet against Hearts. Souttar is a good player but I always feel he has a mistake in him, and whilst Balogun was excellent on Sunday, there's a reason why he's not been a mainstay in the team this season. As always in these games, we'll need to be at our best and Rangers will have to have an off day if we're to pick anything up. I think we have players that can cause them problems though, I just hope we can find a bit of cutting edge that we've often lacked in these games.
  22. I'd have Olusanya watching exactly what Simon Murray did, it seemed like a text book performance against them. We've not really got close to either Celtic or Rangers this season (possibly the 2-1 defeat at Parkhead), so hopefully we can cause them some problems this weekend.
  23. Whats a lunchtime reflection? Is it just a detention with a slightly more positive slant on the word? Or is it something different?
