There are only 2 of those players I'd like to see still playing for us next season.
Ditto.

Anyone know what players are under contract for next season ?

It will result in us missing out of the play offs completely.
From where I'm sitting that could be a price WELL worth paying if it changes the manager.

Paddy O'Neil back in as Sons' No.2
With 36 appearances in a decade maybe get 3-In-One oil to sponsor him.

So do we now take it that the trialist name on tomorrow's team sheet was Paddy O'Neill ?

If that is true, Faz is doing himself absolutely no favours. It's almost like he wants to be up against it, so he has excuses if he fails to achieve objectives and targets.
This is either a non-runner of a story or there's more to it.

Always remember, and despite what some may claim, a Manager can be replaced whilst still under contract. All that's needed is resolve and sensible negotiation.

We end up playing tired and banged up and tend to see a big drop off in consistency in the 2nd half of a season
If that happens then we might not finish in the top four. I wonder what would happen then.

Just to remind everyone heading to Stranraer that the trains aren't currently running.

I'm disappointed it's so low. I'd have charged them at least a grand a skull!
Including your fellow Sons fans who might want to go to hospitality ?

Bloody hell, Sons fans love a moan.
"I'm not going, but the parking prices are a disgrace!"
Damned if they do, damned if they don't. We could win every game 4 nil and there'd still be folk whining.
Any thoughts on £120+VAT for basically the current hospitality offering ?

A couple of wins in these next two games will help the contract renewal talks.

When the pre-match chat is about the food rather than the football you kinda know it's not a game involving title winners

It's almost as if the Sons loyal could see yesterdays game far enough and didn't bother paying the guts of 20 quid to watch us fall further behind our goal in the pishing rain.
A criminal owner, a shit chairman, a shit manager, a shit groundsman. But we're lucky to have Faz and should just get behind the boys and maybe that will turn the c**t into a manager...
Normally when the public starts to walk away it provokes some sort of response. Expect an Email about Christmas parties. The club is in an awful place.

End of next season. If we can crowd fund Young’s operation, surely we can crowd fund his payoff. Problem is the board are in love with him. The worse he gets, the harder they seem to fall.

With the rain today and forecast for next two days we could have an pitch inspection on Friday. God l hate the weather. Anyone know yet how tickets for Scottish Cup will be allocated.
We can only have a pitch inspection if someone other than the groundsman arranges one. We had dire failures to do that last season and then had the cheek to hide behind match refs having no option but to postpone games close to kick-off. It's not rocket science.

Does anyone genuinely believe the club can handle the ticket sales properly? They’ve shown themselves to be totally incompetent time and time again. This is even making the assumption that they’ll care about segregation. I fully expect that all they’ll care about is selling every seat possible, regardless of who takes it.
I’ll be there, but no doubt it’ll be an afternoon spent surrounded by the bigots again.
No. But the problem is that the folk responsible for the tickets will be sitting in the middle of the stand well away from the shit that accompanys these games.

Just checked the OS and it certainly suggests that the Rangers tie will be played at the Rock.

Leave the bean counting to the bean counters. Winning games is the joy of fandom. This "we're a wee team so hopefully we earn £47 from a big team" mentality gives me the raging bile duct.
Is it too much to ask that we win 1-0 at Tynecastle, trouser £40K and get Steven Naismith the bag ?

No match thread in the domestic cup forum. Are we really so unenthusiastic about tomorrow's game ?
It would appear so, aye. Who are we playing anyway ?

Mikey is certainly up there on recent form but I would agree with the the keyboard hardman that Finlay Gray remains the best midfielder in the division.
But I wouldn't swap the little dork for our Mikey all the same. I prefer them big and strapping.
You guys still can't get over his 80-yard run and goal at Ochilview last season. The one where your defenders looked as if they were wearing diver's boots.

Thank goodness we have Jan Vocajek to provide us with a match report, as the OS took all of 59 words to 'cover' the game at Methil on Saturday.

I don't disagree but just who of the three on the Board can be trusted to act, never mind identify and appoint a replacement ? They will keep their heads down and hope it all just goes it away. Meanwhile what's left of the support deffo will.
