I'll put it out clearly on social media tomorrow morning. It's not exactly travelling weather especially if you're driving up from Dumfries.

Although the caveat is electronic equipment is never rated for below 0 degrees so if there's a day the stream might break it'll be a night game in the depths of winter.

Feel free for it to break down anytime after Alloa go two goals up, I and many others will have switched it off by then anyway.

Everywhere. No geoblocking so everything should be nice and straightforward tomorrow.

Well that’s the better option out of 45 minute journey (from Livingston) and attempting to catch hypothermia.

  3. It’s remarkable that two so called professional footballers in Todd and Hendrie didn’t spot the glaring danger in the Dunfermline wingback in the lead up to the goal.

Slow to react to a quick throw in, Hendrie should be busting a gut to get out to one of them but he just ambles about in behind Todd. Instead it leaves Josh caught in two minds and he doesn’t really do enough until it’s too late when he  sprints out to close the cross down. Both of them standing in the same space doing nowhere near enough.  I counted 8 seconds between the ball going out of play and then Dunfermline crossing the ball over. To be standing still/not doing anything meaningful for that long when the opposition has a good opportunity really is dreadful.

  4. Thought Colin Steven had a good game today, first couple of shoves in the back I did wonder if he had lost his whistle.  Good to see he wasn’t going to be stopping the game for minimal pushes every two minutes. I think most would agree he didn’t get everything right but he let a lot go that helped the game flow.

Were you? Draw was the correct result.

After the equaliser thought we were on top for the majority of the time left. 5 corners, 4 shots on target and couple of nearly moments thrown in.

Stats say it was even and over the piece it was  but I thought if anyone was going to win go on and the game it was us. Dave McKay did his best right at the end to lay it on a plate for you.

  6. Can’t wait to see which Queens team turns up for this game, hopefully closer to the Montrose performance than Alloa or Morton. Shipping 9 goals in our last two away games is swaying me towards a home win but you never know. On our day we can play a bit but it’s a gutless lot we have assembled. Let’s hope we start on the front foot playing some good stuff and don’t get involved in any sort of battle as that’s when we tend to fall apart.

    I guess not mate.

If we'd humped the same team three times, I'd probably think they were shite so I do see your point.

Seems Any team can beat any other team in this league, and usually one has a bogey team.

    You are ours certainly.

No doubt you have picked up some good results but would have to agree with RJC and others. I have absolutely no idea how you have picked up the amount of points you have on the showings against us. Looked every inch a league 2 or lowland league side in the three games against us but they are maybe just one offs. We have been really poor for the majority of games this season so to have an 11-1 aggregate score over the three meetings doesn’t translate to second in the league against our gang.

Can we play you every week ?

No, you were right. Our last visit to Meadowbank was indeed that one in 2012.

The League Cup tie in 2018 was at Ainslie Park.

Yes that is why I forgot it was Edinburgh City we played because it was Ainslie park. Dobbie gave them the run around maybe getting one of his many early hat tricks that season but that is from memory so might not be correct. Is he free on Saturday by any chance ?

I didn't think it was as far back as that, can't be arsed checking, but you may well be right.

Yeah you are right we played them in the league cup early doors when Dobbie had a field day in a 4-0 win.

4th November 2012 was the one i was thinking about with goals from Clark and Reilly in a 2-0 win just checked when you planted the seed of doubt. It was the old school big stand which was a much better view than than the one we will get on Saturday at Meadowbank.

I was wanting Bange to get a chance of a start as he's looked fairly impressive in the few sub appearances he's had, sadly didn't work out for him today, easily played out of the game. Same with Wullie Gibson, a lot of supporters were wanting him back in the team, myself included, but he didn't cover himself in glory today.

Wullie is never a central midfielder now, he wants far too much time in an area of the pitch you just aren’t going to get it. I’m sure every person wanting him on the pitch wanted him in at Rb/Rwb.

Woeful performance and tactical set up today, that’s all I can be bothered writing about it.

I thought he was quite right tbh. If the attacker is putting no pressure on him he rightly took his time. He played it out to McKenna as far as I recall.

The only thing that annoyed me about that whole interaction was the fact we easily cut Peterhead from one end of the park to the other in about 4 passes. Yet before and after we were so lethargic. No idea why we didn't attempt to do that more often tbh.

I didn’t say I thought he was right/wrong to do it, i just think the general feeling towards him is pretty poor and most people shouting around me were telling him to hurry up and get on with it. I don’t think he meant it but by drawing the striker in it opened up the space behind him for us to move it quickly.

Thought the reaction of QOS fans before the second goal was interesting. Currie had the ball in our box and was in absolutely no hurry to play the ball anywhere, seemed content to time waste and play out time. The QOS fans were unhappy that was ball was not being played quicker. What happened was that Peterhead were forced up the pitch to make Currie pick up the ball. Once picked up a ball played McKenna (I think), who played it long to Reilly to slid in Todd to score.

The fact Currie hesitated in starting the move maybe caused Peterhead to temporary switch off and allowed QOS to score. The fans didn't like it until the ball hit the back of the net

The general moaning beside me was because he was being a bit of a knob about it and pretending to pick it up 2/3 times before actually doing so. I just had visions of him going to pick it up and dropping it at the strikers feet. It would be nice to see the goal back as I couldn’t remember who played the through ball out of defence. Was a well worked goal in the end and came at a time I was expecting us to lose one but maybe too early.

Thanks for the commiserations for my travel woes yesterday. Have been up & down the roads heading that way plenty times. I do not listen to the radio but should have taken advice from the sat nav & cut across at Kinross. Once getting as far as the Queensferry Crossing there was no turning back it was solid traffic all the way. Had no intention of going into Edinburgh should have been M90 then onto City By-Pass which is no problem, with the Southbound M90 blocked off completely again had no option but head in & hopefully get to the point off getting across to the By-Pass but was not to be. Will have to look into the parking fine from McDonalds car park across from Meadowbank as think a lot of folk just say ignore them but with my luck just now not sure

Did sat nav not try to get you to head over towards Falkirk/Kincardine bridge via the M9. Could have come off the M90 at Queensferry and hung a right to go towards Bo’ness.

Nothing worse mate, I saw the area they were digging up as passed it going north early doors and it was about a metre squared so well worth the disruption they caused.

Shame you missed the game. I guess your traffic problems explain why the Peterhead team bus didnt get to the ground until 2

That's really hard lines @peternapper and especially breaking that great run of away games.  I guess many of us have had a few aborted journeys over the years and missed games (I sure have), doesn't make it any easier though.

Hindsight is a great thing, but did you think of leaving the M90 at Kinross to go for the Kincardine Bridge and the M80/M74 (if the radio was warning you of problems at the Queensferry crossing)?  Incidentally, I heard that the Raith Rovers team bus had been delayed at the east end of the M8 and so the start of their game in Greenock had to be delayed - might have been the same problem?

I worked up at Peterhead in the early 80s and a lot of the time I'd drive via Edinburgh and the M90 taking the (scenic) Moffat/Broughton/Penicuik road, but granted I knew the road really well and it was usually a Sunday night when I was travelling it so the road was quiet - but it made a pleasant change from the monotony of grinding up the motorways (or the miserable A74 dual carriageway as it was back then) via Glasgow.

Just hope that the folk caught up in the accident on the M8 were OK and not seriously hurt, that's the main thing.

It’s been advertised for a week on the local radio (in Edinburgh area) that the m90 was closed so they obviously expected carnage. The only other option to avoid it would have been down through Kirkliston and back on to M8 at Newbridge. New sat nav required Peternapper. You didn’t miss much if that’s any consolation, I have just thawed back out now.

Basically there myself now. I said I wouldn't really comment until after the first quarter and that's it done now. Overall it's been abysmal. We do have some players in there in an attacking sense that should be breezing it in this division yet we failed to have even 1 shot on target against Kelty. There really isn't an excuse for that.

Personally I reckon WG is safe unless we are dragged right into a relegation battle by Xmas; fail to win on Saturday and that's one step closer.

The saddest thing for me is that I'm now getting back to the point where visiting Palmerston is becoming a chore again. Our crowds are appalling the now as it is. With continued shite performance and winter almost here I'm dreading to hear how low our attendances get.

Anything other than 6 points out of our next two games which won’t be easy leaves us short of what I wanted out of these games as I thought we needed minimum 7 out of 9 from the three teams that were below us.

I don’t want us to become a club that switches manager at the drop of a hat (I don’t think that will ever happen) but this simply can’t carry on much longer. The PPG currently is relegation material and while some keep blindly believing we will turn it round I don’t see it coming anytime soon.

FC Edinburgh were on a par with Broomhill sports club over the 180 minutes at Palmerston, Alloa were almost as bad and we still couldn’t beat them. Airdries defence were giving  as many gifts away as we do and in to the bargain played close to 20 minutes with 10 men but no win. Kelty last night offered very little and Fox didn’t have much to do but we have no backbone and nobody wants to the win the battle in these tight edgy games. Wilson had another off night and that’s when we really find out where we are as nobody else stands up and grabs it by the scruff of the neck.

How do you rate your team's start out of 10?

How safe is your manager's job?

    Best performance?

    Worst performance?

    Best player?

Which opposition side/player has impressed you?

    Where will your team finish?

    3/10

Who knows, I want to give him time but the same mistakes keep being made and if he is too stubborn to learn from them I can’t see him making it to January.

The 4-1 win against FC Edinburgh the only result so far worth mentioning really, we got Peterhead away at a good time so not sure that was as good a win as it looked at the time.

The first half performances against Falkirk away,  Airdrie and Dunfermline at home should take some beating but the 1-4 Clyde defeat at home was probably the worst 90 minute performance. Tonight was bad too but shipping four goals on the opening day is pretty depressing and has set the tone for the season.

This is a tough one as Wilson would have been a certainty before the last two games. Was poor first half on Saturday before a slight improvement second half and then a very poor 80 odd minutes tonight. Todd just shades it although he was absolute dug meat tonight.

Too many teams have had it far too easy against us to tell if they were good or if that was down to us being awful. Thought Falkirk were the best passing team we have played but Airdrie at Palmerston through Frizzell ripped us apart first half then thankfully tired. Best team Falkirk, best player Frizzell.

Adding in the worst player I have seen, the FC Edinburgh centre back Bryden. Had an absolute horror show and looked like they had asked a fan to play for the day and had to wear his boots on the wrong feet 5 sizes too big. Felt sorry for him a bit in the end as he was just all over the place.

Anywhere between 4th-8th, so i will go middle of the road 6th.

Goal times of 16 and 90 minutes would have surely unlocked the “Finish the ****” achievement.

I am currently managing Sporting Lisbon in 2039 and one of my players has just been handed his first cap for Czech Republic by manager David Martindale. His career has been quite unimpressive to get there, he left Livingston in 2024 for  Hibs where he had some success winning back to back league cups. Next was a trip down south and off to Watford (sacked after 9 months), Millwall (where he won league 1 before being sacked on Boxing Day in the next campaign), Huddersfield (only lasted another 6 months here too April - October 2033), Ipswich (didn’t last a calendar year before getting his p45) and finally crossed the divide to Tynecastle where he was for 15 months before heading off to Czech Republic.
