  1. You've said you'd expect to play In LL if promoted which will take you a minimum of 2 years yet you acknowledge you are in no position to get floodlights which would be mandatory for that league. What are Lochees short term and long term goals as you are contradicting yourself. I'm sure if it was down to you it would be tier 6 as part of a pyramid in the same league as Linnlitghow.Boness etc.
  2. How will this affect Bonyrigg Rose? Probably the current favourites for promotion but don't have lights. Would they consider ground sharing with Newtongrange or Penicuik for a season so they can secure a licence. It's all very messy
  3. Last season it didn't it was broken all the way round
  4. I get what you are saying but how many clubs would be in this new Fife/Tayside league at Tier 6. No disrespect too some of the teams that would be in this league but there is only 2 possibly 3 that can win the league and as has been said earlier they are Tayside teams above the Tay and unless the boundary is moved would need to move to HL if they ever gain a licence and bar Lochee the others are a million miles from there ground meeting licence criteria. Broughtys ground didn't have a barrier round the pitch last season. It's all very messy and someone with a bit of knowledge of all tiers of Scottish Football needs to sort it out Asap for the good of all clubs.
  5. I understand you've got to look after your own club but are you suggesting the current Tayside and Fife clubs in the Superleague should join at Tier 6 on a par with next season's EOS Premier? A lot of teams got promoted to Super League through default with so many defectors. It can't be right that these clubs are on a par with teams who took a chance to join a more professional structure and fighting tooth and nail to finish top 5 and for most working towards a licence at a lot of cost.
  6. Why are the ERSJFA canvassing for clubs when the product is dead. From the Tay down junior football will be non existent soon. Tayside clubs are fighting tooth and nail to hang on so they don't have to join the Highland League set up.
  7. Great post. At the end of the day Beenz or whatever other names he uses are trying to look after there own club which isn't a bad thing but if 2/3 clubs are holding back a sensible pyramid structure because Tayside clubs don't want to be part of the HL it's insane. I feel for the club's in these areas who want in theory back to playing the top Fife and Lothians teams on a regular basis but unless the border was moved from say the Tay to Brechin it's not achievable. For what it's worth I think the line should be moved as none of the Dundee based teams seem to harbour a move to HL. The only downside is you could have a Dundee team travelling to the borders for a tier 7 league game. This is solved with a regional tier 7/8. All above basically gives you an old ERSJFA league but in a pyramid under SFA and EOSL which is surely much better. Can I ask anyone in Tayside that should they reach tier 5 They would be happier making trips to Glasgow and Annan etc other than Aberdeen and Inverness??
  8. So by this theory Thornton.Whitburn.Tayport and Kirriemuir would be placed in the new 16 team EOS/LL league??[emoji50]
  9. Just seen this thread. Superb. I spent every Sunday in the 80s as a youngster doing something similar. Wrote all teams down on paper and tore them up and put them in a cup. Drew them out and worked to your format. If both had scored the same in a separate cup to pick the winner. Could of saved a lot of time and checked who scored most goals that weekend to get the winner to save me spending time but loved it.
  10. Hand on heart do you honestly believe the ERSJFA current Super league clubs will be on a par next season with the top 5 of Conferences A/B/C. ? If you do then tell me what league would an East Lowland League side be relegated too?
  11. The minutes state formation of Tier 6 in Tayside region and West . It does not for one minute suggest the Juniors enter at Tier 6. To me it points too Ambitious Tayside league clubs can join at Tier 6 which will either be under the Highland League or enter EOS league if the boundary is moved.
  12. We know it's a transition season this year and all clubs will take a hit but next year there should be at least 10 of last year's Super League in new EOS top league under a professional structure so should work out ok
  13. Hals.Surely your crowds can't be down 40% The average attendance for Dundonald games is 143 going by another thread. That would mean around 230-240 in Super League
  14. Seemingly the SJFA think they will have a combined Superleague with 10 West and 6 East teams in place for the start of 2019/20. Whether they think they should enter at Tier 5 or 6 i dont know. it all seems very messy. Say an East team were to be relegated what league do they fall into? for me the structure is straight forward and not difficult. Lowland League tier 5, EOS and WOS at tier 6 , eventually all clubs in Tiers 5/6 must be licenced say by 2020/21 Tiers 7/8 and below could still be run by SJFA for clubs who dont want licenced . It would be better if it was under one body but if SJFA insist they have to be involved they still can be at a much lower level, I get the feeling the plans in place are to suit TJ and 3/4 of the big west clubs. Cant see the benefit of Lochee or any other Tayside team for that matter having to travel to South Ayrshire for a tier 6 league game.
  15. if its do do with HMRC and National Minimum Wage looks like the captain of the ship is willing too take down most of his passengers with him,
  16. So you are now threatening to ban someone from Lochee home games because he has the audacity to have a different opinion from yours, no wonder teams want to leave the juniors with people like you involved.
  17. Please tell me which of the 13 clubs who have applied EOS league are moving for the cash?. Have Lochee ever tried to engage with a local boys club and create a pathway for local youngsters ? No they have a history of cherry picking ex seniors and the best juniors which is fine and delivers a decent on field product which i dont imagine comes cheap,
  18. they may possibly well be and even if relegated could come up to the super duper league next season, you cant have clubs from Tayside travelliing to South Ayrshire for a tier 6 league game.
  19. Forfar to Ayrshire isnt feasible for a tier 6 league game.
  20. What baffles me is and nothing really to do with this paticular discussion but junior clubs cant play under lights midweek in the winter to possibly catch up on fixtures for reasons i dont know yet Linlithgow were allowed to have 2.30pm kick offs through the winter under lights and are also kicking off at 7.30 v Lochore next week when other games are 6.45. would love someone in the know to explain that one.
  21. what would be wrong with top junior sides being in the Lowland League for years? they are currently bogged down in Leagues where they cant progress anyway. And in a few years they will be playing each other regularly anyway albeit in a different structure, Fife and Lothians , EOS Cup , WOS cup ,Ayrshire Cup?? , there are also numerous cups in the non league senior set up so your statement doesnt make any sense.
  22. Can only imagine it would be St Andrews, Recently advertised for a part time under 19s coach , a well run club who would be a good addition if it is them . At present they have to travel to Haddington,Dunbar etc so wouldnt kill them to play games in the borders.
  23. Looking at going to Florida next June . 5 adults and 3 kids, flights are working out at around £350 per person, viia Philadelphia out and Gatwick back, Car Hire and accomodation wont be a problem as loads to choose from Park tickets is my sticking point. Kids arent really in to Disney so i think we could do multi park hopper which includes Universal, Wet n Wild etc for around £250 each, are these parks okay?
  24. Joined a golf club this time last year and was given handicap of 9.2, I am now at 5.2. Delighted but the downside is will really struggle to compete for medals etc off this, I think if you play steady golf its not to hard to get cut from around 9/10 to 5/6 Id imagine getting from 5 to 2/3 would be a lot harder,
