  1. Still canna beat teams unless they start with an A. At least it’s Ayr & Alloa next
  2. Does anyone know why they don’t show highlights of the championship games? Not even extended or normal highlights, just a 10-15 minute section at the end with a voiceover as a round-up? Doesnt seem to make much sense to me seeing as BBC Scotland have the rights? I know some teams put their highlights online but only ones I can consistently find are Alloa, Ayr, ICT & Dunfermline, would be nice to see a round up of the championship weekend as well considering how much closer it is and not the same two horse race year upon year (I may be slightly biased being a Dundee fan but yknow.) if anyone could let me know why they don’t show them I’d be grateful to know why
  3. Play-off finals results - Aberdeen 1-0 Ross County Aberdeen will enter the Europa League first qualifying round. Arbroath 2-2 Dumbarton Dumbarton win 3-1 on pens. 7. And thats that! Rangers confirmed their title a few weeks ago and will now enter the Champions League Qualifying first round, while Hibs finish second so will enter the Europa League first qualifying round, they will be joined by the winner of the EL play-offs which will take place over the next few weeks. Dunfermline & Dundee are relegated while St. Mirren will contest the championship play-offs. Hamilton survive by the skin of their teeth. Thank you all for keeping up with this page over the last 9 months, I will have the play-off fixtures up in a few minutes, still unsure if I will do this again for next season.

  13. And here is your final Championship table update! Forfar are victorious over Dumbarton meaning they clutch the final automatic promotion spot, while Dumbarton go into the play-offs. Alloa beat QoS to send them down automatically, Alloa will go into the relegation play-off with the 3rd placed team from SPFL League 2, Edinburgh City. Play-offs will be contested the weekend after the Premiership finishes, with the semis being 2 legs, and the finals being one leg, held at a neutral venue (Hampden or Murrayfield.) Here is the play-off picture so far; Arbroath v 14th Place Premiership Stranraer v Dumbarton Edinburgh City v Alloa Athletic 14th Place Premiership v Arbroath Dumbarton v Stranraer Alloa Athletic v Edinburgh City. Bare in mind there is play-offs for the premiership as well regarding Europa League spots. The play-offs will work as follows; each matchday (Leg 1, Leg 2, Finals) will all take the goals scored from a certain gameweek. A random number generator will be used to pick a number between 1 - 36, this will determine the goals scored for each team. Each teams goals will all come from the same game week. For example, if GW4 is selected for Leg 1, we will look at the goals scored for every team involved in a play-off from that GW.
  14. W36 Championship Results - Arbroath 1-1 Raith Rovers Dumbarton 1-3 Forfar Athletic Inverness CT 1-1 Montrose Stranraer 1-2 East Fife Airdrieonians 4-1 Ayr United Brechin City 1-3 Falkirk Alloa Athletic 1-0 Queen of the South Stenhousemuir 1-1 Greenock Morton Table to follow soon. Also congratations to both Peterhead & Clyde for gaining promotion to the Championship next Season!
  15. And with that game week it is official... Rangers are Champions!! Huge congratulations to Steven Gerrard in a legendary debut season, title wrapped up with 3 games to spare and Champions League football to look forward to next year. Elsewhere; Hibs leapfrog city rivals Hearts into the automatic Europa League spot Ross County tighten their grip on the Europa League play-off places while Livi's emphatic win over Killie put them back into contention to make a late run at the final play-off spot. Hamilton record a huge win over St. Mirren to give daylight between themselves and a relegation play-off spot. Dundee record a huge 3-0 victory over relegation rivals Dunfermline, only 3 points behind St. Mirren in the relegation play-off spot now with 3 games still to go. W34 Fixtures List - Hibernian v Aberdeen Rangers v Hearts Kilmarnock v Livingston Ross County v Celtic Dundee United v St. Johnstone Partick Thistle v Motherwell Dunfermline Athletic v Dundee Hamilton Accies v St. Mirren A lot of things settled & a lot of things blown wide open on the penultimate matchday in the Championship! Forfars victory over Arbroath along with Dumbartons defeat to Raith Rovers now sees both teams level on points with Forfar ahead of their rivals by virtue of goal difference. Just so happens that Dumbarton host Forfar on the final matchday! Dumbarton going into it knowing they need a win to go up automatically, a draw good enough for Forfar! Hows your nerves Dumbarton & Forfar fans? Of course not all doom & gloom for the team who finishes 3rd, they'll enter the promotion play-offs with the 5th placed team. Which is likely to be Stranraer who now hold a 3 point lead and a far superior goal difference over 6th placed Inverness. Down at the bottom, Stenhousemuir ensured their survival with their slender 1-0 victory over Queen of the South, this result, coupled with Alloa's 1-1 draw at already relegated Morton, means that both Queens, who occupy the relegation play-off spot, and Alloa, who occupy the final automatic relegation spot, sit level on points, with Queens ahead due to a better goal difference. And just like at the other end of the table, Alloa host Queen of the South on the final matchday! Alloa need a win to leapfrog Queens into the play-off places, while a draw is good enough for Queens, one team will definitely go down next week, it could potentially be both a few weeks after depending on the results of the play-offs! W36 Fixture List - Arbroath v Raith Rovers Dumbarton v Forfar Athletic Inverness CT v Montrose Stranraer v East Fife Airdrieonians v Ayr United Brechin City v Falkirk Alloa Athletic v Queen of the South Stenhousemuir v Greenock Morton
