He might have been talking about the people who are forced to refine it and whose communities are torn apart by drugs and that? People can't just cop out by saying "oh I was only ruining drug users lives and they made the choice themselves" as much more people are affected than that. All I was saying. They've made a biiiig mistake either way (if they willingly did this) but they just seem like dafties to me. If they were forced into this it's absolutely not something they can be held up for. Completely agree with the people that are speaking out against censorship but I thought this "silent protest" was more about a stand against the misogyny that has been levelled at a few well known personalities on twitter rather than a stand in favour of that 'report button' shite...?

I completed agree that censorship of twitter will achieve nothing and that if you believe something is serious then you should I to the police etc. However all they're doing is making a statement against the level of vitriolic threats that have been levelled against well respected women recently and for some reason there's a ridiculously high level of people against this or who want to sneer at it... Not exactly the worst gun in the world is it...?

How do you know exactly how he'd react if he was depressed? Everything he's describing sounds like classic symptoms of depression. You're bang on about how Philpy should speak to someone about his problems but you're wrong to say that sharing his problems on here won't help anything. If you look at others who've posted on this thread you'll see it helped then to discuss their issues and some felt better when they got all that shite off their chest. People shouldn't be put down for posting on here and should only be met with sympathy if you ask me.
