Successful weekend of running for me, paced my sister to a new 5k PB at parkrun yesterday and done a 15k long run today, which is the furthest I’ve run in who knows how long

This is the thing people tend to forget, after 6 games we had 1 point. If the league started when Dunc took over we’d be 5th currently (if my auntie had baws etc). Don’t get me wrong some of the performances have been hopeless but we’ve come a long way from being bottom of the league after 6 games.

Definitely do get your point and that’s the beauty of the championship, I think only Morton have been consistently in the league with us since we came down, everyone else has had a period in the premiership or the seaside. Playing 4 times a season does get on my tits though even going back to our top league days. It’s a double edged sword though really Current setup: Play more games against the same teams, tighter leagues so less meaningless games. Bigger leagues: Play more teams less often (albeit those teams less likely to change as much) and bigger leagues lead to more meaningless games.

That’s not as bad imo, better than the scenarios where you could play teams 5/6/7 times in one season
