For a club that is on a strict budget economically it doesnt make sense to keep them on the budget , yes Wilkie has been a great wee player for the club when fit but the club did stand by him when he had knee issues so I don’t get where that’s distasteful of the club ?
In regards to Lamont EFFC gave him a chance after his issues at Stirling
Maybe it was just times to walk away from them !
It' the manager who is distastful talking about injuries not the club. However, it actually shows he has little experience at man management and even less integrity.

I just find it distasteful that injuries are used as an excuse to get rid of 2 players who did their best for the club. Just say they are freed you don't have to lessen their chances of another club by brandishing them crocks

Just wondering if Wilkie and Lamont released because of fitness issues why are Docherty,Watson and to a lesser extent Linton still with us?

That's good then about the lift will easy access to the ground then be available from lounge. The food is always food/service is always first class

I think the addition of someone with experience would benefit the manager. He tries to play a football system that's beyond the capabilities of the players he had. So much so that nobody, fans included have any idea of what's supposed to happen.
It is obvious that quite a few players don't want to play for the manager and I'm sure Duggan,Dunsmore,Page,,Lamont Kane will follow Wilkie and Goodfellow out the door. Probably Wilson Jones and Mutch will go too.
I'm not sure if McManus and Smith are staying but along with Slattery and Docherty I hope so. Not fussy about Thomson nor Linton . So as someone mentioned a big rebuilding job.

I do hope there is a big increase of young people taking up this great offer. It would of course helped if the same consideration was given to the ageing fan base. £12 For a concession is obscene it is by far the most expensive price in Division 1. I had to miss one away game this year and got a last minute concession ticket for Hibs v Aberdeen cost £12

They used to have East Fife captain's favourite tune played for the teams to come out. This was Jim walkers favourite and it's been played sinceIt definitely played at old Bayview. Im sure we played a Dutch team called Telstar, so maybe stems from that,

We were awful in fact worse than awful. Only Wilkie and Watson were worth 1 out of 10 and Linton when he came on at least tried

Absolutely agree Slattery gives his all for us week in week out. Flanagan Wilkie Slattery Millar Linton or Smith when fit not a bad midfield.
