Trust has a rep. Directors identified in programme. Finances published for AGM. See chart in previous post for share holding. Players have Liam I think as rep. Any questions I have asked in emails to club have been answered. So perhaps supporters direct haven't been asking correct questions

Must admit I saw nothing in our 4 games against Brechin to suggest they could do that so fair play to them. 4 games against the Lino lickers next season, bring it on!!!!!!
I went to watch this game today. Raith were poor and were unorganized. So no surprise at result.Brechins goalkeeper was outstanding particularly in 1st half. I honestly think if we had qualified for the play offs we would have won them but we didn't so onto next season and 12 points from raith will help us along

The words aimed at those running the club are a tad harsh. As much as I enjoy a good moan (see season ticket prices) the people at board level clearly work very hard and do all they can for the club and that should be appreciated. Is it annoying that our owner would rather keep us till its profitable to sell on? Yes, we all know he/she doesn't care, but unless someone arrives with the finances to put a serious offer in then we're sort of stuck.
As an aside, does anyone know the story of how wee Samantha was able to procure our club?
Definitely agree the people running club and the volunteers are to be praised. I don't always agree with their decisions however I respect their right to make them.
I would wish any player capable of going full time best wishes and thank them for their efforts for East Fife

A suggestion of a better communication statement from the board.
'To enable the continuing positive developments of recent seasons and to ensure the manager has sufficient funding to attract the quality of player required to develop the squad. The board have decided with the exception of a child's ticket and over 80 ticket to increase prices by 15% for all categories.
This is the first increase since season 2008/9 and reflects the cost of living experienced by all fans and businesses. We are aware this may cause hardship in some instances and in an effort to mitigate this we are willing to take 3 installments on full price tickets. The offer being,1st payment early June, 2nd payment July and final payment August. The 'early bird' price would still apply for a single payment.
We thank you in anticipation of your continued support in helping to develop and keep our club in a healthy position.

We can expect a statement in relation to the club's admission prices for next season, which incidentally are the first increases since 2008.
In response to the comments about the communication from club to supporters, I agree that continuous improvement should always be a priority but where we are now compared to where we were a decade ago is deserving of acknowledgement:
Social Media:
Match previews
Live matchday updates
Match highlights with commentary (most Championship clubs and some Premiership clubs do not provide this)
Commentary for visually impaired supporters
Televised post match interviews
On this day features
Thursday Teaser
Updates on new signings
Our match programme has been awarded the SPFL1 programme of the year once again
In short. We are getting a lot right, any suggestions about how we can improve are welcome...
I totally agree that the differing forms of communication used by the volunteers on behalf of the club are first class and should be recognised as such. Surely any statement should have come out alongside the proposed 15% to 44% price increases, not as an afterthought.

Every player a star todsy. Duggan should not have been booked for the tackle by their number 3 and the assault by the other Albion player

I notice Albion Rovers are charging £14 tomorrow. Alloa & Airdrie were £16 this season. Arbroath in League 2 have been the same as us this season at £13. To be fair to the Club, prices have remained unchanged for a few seasons so we're probably due to increase. However, the way the Club have made ticket prices known with no explanation given has led to many fans being disgruntled and possibly not buying season tickets. It is quite a hike in Season Ticket prices and may prevent fans from buying but for the team to be strengthened more money is required to bring the quality required to progress. Time will tell whether this move will indeed see the Club take more money in or not. Alloa who were charging £16 and have had a great season have had average gates of 532 compared to 608 at Bayview where entry was pegged at £13. At a time where disposable income in most households is decreasing, I think more effort should be made to increase revenue by getting more people through the gates rather than trying to get more income from regular fans with the chance of actually decreasing the number attending games. I appreciate the Board have had to make a decision on the way forward but if discussions had been held with fans to explain the reasons and a chance for ideas to be discussed, the backlash regarding price increases may have been avoided.
Fair comments. However, Alloa and Airdrie are full time, we also kept our prices at £13 when in league 2. Albion will also not be charging £12 for concessions. And no other club have released their prices, particularly with 3 games to go and still with a play off imminent. Fans will still support the team in numbers I hope, but whoever created this PR crap needs booted

Irrespective of this bad decision badly communicated in my opinion . I really wish the players good luck for tomorrow. You have done the club and supporters proud this season so one last push guys you can do it

Yes but Raith have a full time set up

I am older generation and I have plenty to do. That doesn't include supporting a near 40% increase in price . I have emailed the club asking for reasons for this increase which is a disgrace. I won't be renewing season ticket or sponsorship and I am contemplating only going to away games

I have sponsored a player for quite a few years . I certainly won't be doing that next season Ridiculous pricing

I wonder what all the obsession about finances with Smith leaving is. All employees sign a contract of employment as far as i know. If the choose to change jobs they are often required to work a notice period. However, an employer is certainly entitled to wave that notice if the believe it could hamper their business
