How many players did Kilmarnock sign in January?
Only one player was signed that is not a loanee. A further 4 loan players were brought in and we lost Hendry who went back to SJ. Polworth was loaned out to Dunfermline.

Will Partick have all their missing players back for the Killie game?

I don't understand why supporters of Ayr or Queens are at all worried about our results tbh.

St Mirren sign yet another ex Killie player.

Now down to only two contenders.

Good result.
f**k knows what league we will be in when I see Ayr again.
Put your cash on that it won’t be the Premiership.

Killie were not at their best today. We need to step this up and get over the line. Two teams left now.

I hate our plastic pitch but there isn’t any doubt that in terms of income it’s been a good choice. I walked round past RP last Thursday night and the place was mobbed with youth teams using the pitch, not 100% certain that it wasn’t our own youth teams but if not then it’s all income that Ayr could be getting too.
Also saw what looked like a lot of parents in the hotel at the time having coffee etc so with you guys having the hub you could be increasing your income on that too.
Killie do not make any outside cash from their pitch as it is not available to hire. All teams that use it are part of the Killie set up.

Not heard a word out of them for 3 months and then out the shadows they come...
Out of the shadows and on to the peak. The view is so much nicer up here.

That is partly true but then you look at Livingston and Hamilton, both with smaller fanbases than Ayr, yet capable of multiple years in the premier league.
Our policy of living within our means is admirable but also makes success harder to achieve. For years we've just ambled along doing the bare minimum expected of a professional club. You either need a lot of money or a novel approach to get success. We've had neither. But the Mathie/Smith 'revolution' is the most promising thing we've had in 20 years. I hope to God it works because our long suffering fanbase deserve some good times.
Mathie is Killie through and through.

This weekend was a Carlsberg Killie fest.

Killie never had to get out of neutral to put Ayr back into their box.

All the best in the play offs. I hope you send Dundee down.

That could be the Ayrshire league derbies over for another 30 years.

I left before half time .and sat in the cosy atmosphere of the hub and watched it on TV.
Was Andy Pandy Walker in there buying tickets for his own event?

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but you were time wasting when 3-1 up against 10 men. I think you probably will go up, but deary me that side will need almost entirely replaced next season to give you a chance of even being competitive.
Killie usually give St Mirren all our cast offs.

Does it always rain when Killie play in Ayr? Oh well that’s the league Derby’s over for another 30 years.

You forget to mention that you were parachuted bye the first 3 rounds when you won your 2 cups. What an achievement winning a few games to win it. Winning a league over 36 games no matter what league it is, is much more of an achievement than relying on a lucky draw and winning 3/4 games. Amazing that £13 million of debt can buy you 2 cups though.
I think you will find that Killie have cash in the bank and indeed made another profit last season. If it’s so easy to win the cups then why has Ayr never managed it. In fact no Scottish cup final has ever saw an Ayr team participating in it.

Doesn’t overly sound like Lafferty will be starting, though ultimately it could just be mind games from McInnes...
He will start unless McInnes rests him for the big games coming up.

So if you win the title this year you won't accept the cup as its not a "major trophy" and it won't be in your list of honors?????
It won’t even come close to being an honour. It’s a means to an end and that’s all it will ever be. It would mark the end of our failure over the last two years. E

You totally miss the point laddie. The Championship trophy is the original 1st Division trophy which we won. To win it again would mean we won it twice. Despite all your stats above Ayr United does not feature on this trophy. Your history above is in winning lower leagues. As a minor league yo yo team that will happen.
All that being said your club appears to have started pointing in an upward direction. Good luck for the future.
We would get the same trophy but there is no comparison to the two achievements. We were the CHAMPIONS of Scotland when we won it. If we win it this season we will be the best of the dross.

Ticket bought today. Asked how sales were going. As of this afternoon around 5500 sold. Looking good for a big home support
I bought home end stand tickets again. I keep making the same mistake.

Last year the play offs favoured the championship team. Including the play off games against Raith, Dundee only played 29 league games before playing Killie, who had to play 38 games. One team was fresh whilst the other was running on fumes.
