  1. Only pointing out the facts M8 but keep up your righteous beliefs about your beloved club. Don’t remember yous winning a lot under Minford,Gray or Rambo so just pray Tucker has the appetite to go a few more seasons as he is more responsible for the success than anyone else at the club just as Knox was previously.
  2. No of course they aren’t as they got their quarter final with Hurlford postponed on player health grounds back in early March but that doesn’t change the fact that after deciding to withdraw from this seasons league citing players welfare as one of reasons they then decide that some players can go and play elsewhere on loan if the club they were going to suited Talbot only then to state that they would be happy to participate in playing out the 2019/2020 Scottish Junior Cup. A tad hypocritical to say the least although not alone as Pollok were going to do the same thing.
  3. Well as big Marvin said you keep believing. For your info I am not interested in the play offs but can make my my own mind up on the risks involved in playing on.
  4. That is your opinion on it but not necessarily the opinion of everyone else. The media frenzy fuelled by government propaganda and announcements on this has scared people into believing how dangerous this strain of the flu actually is. You keep believing whatever you want and leave the teams who choose to play on to get on with it. No one forces players or management or committees to go to games the do so of their own choice. The vast majority of teams chose to play this season so that might be a better indication of what people feel on the matter.
  5. Numbers always going to be higher with the level of testing now in place. The chances of actually dying from this strain of the flu are still as small as ever. Very honourable of Carlo and Maybole but let’s see how they feel if the WOSL apply the 12 point deduction for next season that all participating clubs signed up for when they decided to play on.
  6. If the new Government regulations doesn’t shut factories or building sites why would outdoor football have to stop? Usual suspects with affiliation to teams who opted out playing this season trying to justify their clubs choices.
  7. If these figure are correct this aid will be a huge help to all the clubs and only right that the teams that opted out get less than the teams who stuck with season.
  8. Yes agree Oscar I forgot about them although like Beith they have lost a few players so might take a bit of settling in time this season for the new signings.
  9. A bit presumptuous to write of the likes of Pollok ,Hurlford, Beith and Kilwinning who have all got a pretty decent recent record in not only competing with Talbot but also winning the bigger prizes at this level where as Darvel to date have achieved nothing. All about opinions but as seen in the past splashing the cash does not guarantee success and team togetherness and gelling can count for a lot over a season.
