Clyde fans trying far too hard to make out this isn't a sair wan.

Martin signing would represent us having almost certainly the best keeper in the league.
That's enough pish for one day.0 -
Wheels coming off at Arbroath IMO.

Scottish ground guide has Hamiltons average last season as 3,027. Unsure of how reliable a source that is but it is certainly a more realistic figure
My quick maths of the league attrndances counted 57,400. With 19 league games at home thats what i got. Didn't bother to check if they had 19 or 20.0 -
The figure I provided is correct according to Wikipedia. I can't find a more reliable source. Where's HibeeJibee when you need him?
I had a (very) quick scan through their attendances last season. The maths don't add up to me. Only a handful of games were higher than that average.0 -
Sean Murdoch is vital for us, he's shown he's a steady keeper.
Geggan is really showing his potential last season after the mare the season before, back on track and a Captain.
Moffat is an intelligent player and with Higginbotham, Cardle and Williamson we have players who can get the ball to him in the box. In the last couple of seasons he's been tracking back out the box to bring the ball back in.
Lewis Martin is our best defender in my opinion, I think he'll prove to be a major asset this season.
Ben Everton Richards is a concern for me. He just needs to learn to play the simple ball coming out of defence rather then looking to surge out of position trying to play the long accurate pass. That's not his job. Keep it simple.
Wedderburn ...jury's out on him for me. Clearly brought in to give us a physical presence in midfield and to break up play. He might get caught out too often.
Higginbotham is clearly a talented lad. Some of the passes he's put forward have been pure class. Maybe a suspect temperament.
Ryan Williamson needs to stay the course, real talent but he looks fragile. Maybe not a natural right back but undoubted the service he provides.
Higginbotham was miles above anyone else at CP. couple of mates went to the ICT game and said he was your best player.
Needs to sort that hair out though. WTF?0 -
Its fairly clear they did. In the same way Aberdeen talked to Tanseys agent and were able to match his release clause to the exact number.
It happens all the time, all over the world, to think its not happened here is naive. If its true Hemmings wanted a move south to be closer to family or that he's likely told his agent, whos spread the release clause about and Oxford have matched. Its utter shitehawk behaviour which should be punished, but its impossible to prove.
^^^ libellous. Oxford lawyers incoming.
ETA. Aberdeens as well

You think a buyer would talk to Dundee before Hemmings agent?
Isn't that tapping up if they do?0 -
Genuine question. What if a club rocks up and says they want to speak to Hemmings, Dundee say how much and they say £1m. Dundee say talk away.
Hemmings agent then reveals the clause for less than that. Do they get to drop the offer?0 -
And? A bidding war can't take place when such a clause exists, as even if one club offers £1m and the other offers £250k both clubs get to speak to the player, so its up to him where he goes.
Please though, continue.
There will be a bidding war. Whichever offers the player most cash.
Carry on.0 -
Bit harsh, he was an absolute standout at U20 level (for a while), has numerous MoM awards for games in the Europa League and played a part in some fine results for us in that same competition. Its sad when a young player ends up hating his job due to all the pressures that come with it, and with more support he could've had a fine career.
Looked a decent enough player when we had him on loan. Was shocked to see how bad he was for Alloa.0 -
Is he not quite decent, and worth a punt?
Punt is the word.
He's had one decent season in a full-time team that dominated a mediocre part-time league. A couple of poor seasons before that until Johnston splashed some cash and brought some Championship standard players into league 1
Would be a different story at Dundee.
Hemmings and Stewart always scored goals together in teams that weren't great. You want to bet Dundee's season on him replacing that partnership?
Pars fans incoming to tell you how great he is and that he scored against premier opposition last season.0 -
Was it really £250k for Hemmings? That's a steal if it was! Who's going to replace 25 league goals for you boys then?
Given Hartleys previous for signing people from the lower leagues he'll be on the phone to el-bakoui's agent.
Hilarious if they sign him.0 -
City have signed Craig Beattie and goalkeeper Calum Antell according to their twitter page.
I remember Antell playing for QoS. Worst keeper I'd ever seen, until we signed Andrews last season.0 -
Only a few to be fair. I had a bad feeling this would happen seeing as we've only won one of our 7 games so far...
But we've played... Motherwell, Raith, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Dunfermline in 5 of them. Many of them with trialists/patched up teams put out. It's been a worthwhile pre season, better than organising friendlies against teams we would beat or part time teams for me. I fully expect us to get beat against Inverness too, Inverness under 20s up there on a Tuesday night too is a dodgy one. Not sure what kind of team we will play.
None of it really matters though as long as we are fit and ready to go in August. I said before the game I hope there's not an overreaction, was just hoping it was going to be some of you guys doing it. [emoji6]
Cowden will cigar their way through this league.
There you go mate.0 -
If anyone watched Shapovalov against Dimitrov wow. Moments of genius from the young Russian. Even though he lost a big future ahead of him.

Regardless of the minuscule fee we got for him, who do we bring in as a replacement?
Will it be another jobs for the boys signing from Hartley?
Is Colin Nish free?
Nah mate. He'd want a wage.0 -
A goal and an assist for Todorov in the first game of his loan spell at Cowdenbeath the night, apparently - nice one.
Boy looked a real handful. Put himself about and ran the defence ragged. Could have scored a couple more.0 -
Can only comment on my situation. I ignored them and they stopped sending letters as they have no legal way to ascertain who was driving the vehicle. Unless they have proof of who was driving they have no way to take you to court for what is a civil, not criminal, matter.0 -
Usually park on road bit down from the ground don't park in supermarket or shops
Park in the supermarket or the shops and don't worry about it. Ignore the notices about parking fines. Only the council or police can enforce them in Scotland. Private contractors can't.
Parked in some shop car park right over the road from the ground both times we were there last season. Got the anticipated letters threatening all sorts and threw the lot in the bin. They've stopped sending them now.0 -
Read simewhere that Little and Scott both suspended for Wednesday .
Imagine sticking the heid on someone in a friendly.

Anyone know if the Konta final is on TV?

Evans just had a heads gone in Washington. He let the crowd wind him up.
American crowds are far from sporting when you play a yank but you have to be able to deal with that.0 -
Sampras faced Agassi. Agassi was a better returner than both Djokovic and Murray.
He kind of had to be in the era of serve/volley.0

I'm sure he meant over the length of his 3 year deal. Not in one season.
