Superb, 5 out of last 6 points in tiebreak. Be good if they brought semi to Glasgow but probably unlikely.
Sure they've played Davis Cup games in Glasgow before at the Commonwealth arena.0 -
This tie is as good as Edmund has ever looked.

Think we need to reel this in a bit....
Linn and McCord are proven, top players at this level with Kader a wee bit behind. I think Linn and McCord would definitely walk into any team in League 2.
Jimmy Scott has a good CV and on paper I'm happy with him signing, but we've not seen him play a minute of football for us, or at this level yet. As far as I can see he was semi regular at Raith similar to McCord the year before last and has been playing in India since. We have no idea what level he's been playing at, no idea of his fitness, if he's up for it or on his way out etc. I'll reserve judgement until I see him play a few games, but as I said, on paper it's a very good signing.
Mark Whatley put in more bad performances than good last season in my opinion. The season before he was superb, and he definitely has it in him to be a top player at this level but he needs to step it up a level or two from last year. I think playing with better players will obviously help, but based on last year there's no chance Whatley would simply walk into the top teams midfields over what they have.
Liam Callaghan was released by Cowdenbeath, where he was in and out the team last year in a side that was piss poor and got relegated. He has some potential based on what's been said and his invitation down to Birmingham for a trial a few years ago, but he is far from being a 'very good' midfielder at this level based on the last few years in my opinion. Like Jimmy Scott, I'll reserve proper judgement until I've seen him play a good few games.
On paper I would say overall we have a top level midfield at this level, in terms of starters and the backup we have. However, I am very surprised to see us have 8 midfielders signed up in total, as at least one, probably two, will get very little game. However we have no idea how our keeping situation sits until we've seen the keepers play a good few competitive games, our defence is very thin and upfront while there are far more goals than last season we have no idea at all how Prunty and Doris will work together.
Yes we have some very good individual players, but we have no idea how this will fit together as a team yet and there are still worries/ unknowns in key areas. Over the years time and again we've seen teams who're great on paper and/ or have very good individual players putting in piss poor team performances as they just don't compliment each other. We've seen teams with very little individual quality but a great togetherness, morale and organisation win the league a few times also.
We've not played a single minute of competitive football so far, we're still over 3 weeks off our first league game, and we're already setting ourselves up for a rather large fall....
Almost correct.
McCord i would take in our squad but like Callaghan has been found wanting at a higher level so has a lot to prove.
No chance would I take Linn.

Media reports of Warburton extending his contact flying around.
Klopp type panic IMO. Contract extensions for achieving nothing of note are laughable.0 -
With Buchanan playing against Dunfermline and Cowdenbeath, I wondered if they're trying to help him find a club by allowing coaches/scouts to see in an actual game situation?
Send him back to us. Cheers. Fox rates him and will give him a chance.0 -
Says the boy who's shitebagged out of my one.
Think you're the only person who doesn't realise your bet made you look like a twat.
If you're that desperate to have a punt on something any online bookies will offer you odds on something.0 -
He said it 20 minutes ago ya rocket.
^^^ not taking the bet.0 -
You wouldn't walk into the bookies and ask for a bet based on those terms , you're being ridiculous .
£10 on Doris won't score 15 league goals this season please . Injured or not
No-one taken you up on this?
I'm stunned.0 -
We are also the biggest fannies in the league. Don't forget that.

Don't know why we're bothering playing the games this season. Smokies clearly have the best players in every position.

Il have a tenner with ya . What's the bet conditions ?
If their previous is anything to go by Doris has to be on the pitch every minute but if your CF breaks a leg on opening weekend tough shit.0 -
Why would I say he's shite when he's clearly not though?
If he stays fit. And doesn't miss more than say 5 league games, charity bet he'll score more league goals than any of your strikers? £20?
Would you like to add any more caveats to your idea?

Says the boy that's got the prolific Gary Glen up top for his team and a few ex juniors. [emoji85]
^^^ hasn't denied Doris is shite.

It's a year long loan, if Hearts had any intention of seeing how he done at this level to take him back they would've made it a 6 month deal.
They've seen how he's done at this level. They signed him from the Queens side that finished top 4. He's not getting another shot at Hearts.

Steven Doris is ok, he suffered a dead leg, in the calf and he should be ok beyond Saturdays game,

Just watched McGhee's post-match interview. Don't know whether it was just a turn of phrase but quite telling that he describes Tait as a "replacement" for Law.
Don't know how he found time to mention players after he spent so much time greeting about pitches. Even having a pop at Dumbartons when he hasn't seen it

Speaking to a few jambos in the pub after todays game. Genuinely pissed off at the manager and at finishing third last season. WTF?

And the two major lies were recanted very soon after the result.Maybe a bit . But I do think a lot of people based their decision on the many pure lies spouted out by Leave. Remain may have painted a bleak picture but I don't remember them telling a single porkie. When they are aware of the full picture many may feel they deserve a second vote.

Any political party absolutely can make a manifesto commitment to do whatever they want. If they get elected they are within their right to follow through with the commitment. If the people feel strong enough about it they won't vote for it.No what I am stating is that the Government cannot use the GE to over-ride the result of the referendum. Your comparison to the SNP isn't even comparative. The SNP are not using the results of the SP elections to ignore the 2014 vote.
You are now trying to change your initial argument that a GE with a manifesto commitment should over-ride the referendum results.
You can disagree all you want but there's absolutely nothing even moralky wrong with it happening.
