Haha aye. I still think the freak out was justified as if Vale hadn't hit the ground running we'd be in pretty dire straits still. I mentioned KVV to my brother the other day. He's presumably still quite fond of his child so I assume wanting to hang about in Scotland. I don't think Killie will be able to pay the £6k p/w much beyond this season (nor has he really justified it so far.) I'm not suggesting we will/should go back in for him but I'm genuinely curious about where he'll end up.

Hearts fans seem to hate Scott Fraser. Only on loan so wonder if we'll try again in summer.

I have a feeling we might actually make Top Six, or at least take it to the 33rd game. Head says it's probably only about a 10% chance and its a big ask given we only really beat Livi and Ross County but I reckon we might go on a bit of a mini-run. If we do then we've timed it pretty well given our run in is basically the four other competitors.

Yeah I think its most likely the win two games before the split and are basically safe. If they don't though then things could get pretty dicey very quickly and aye, I wonder if he has the stomach for it.

Bair's a weird player. He still never really seems to make the ball stick but he's strong, fast as f**k, a decent finisher and has put in a few very good crosses this season. I think it's probably about as likely that the last few months do turn out to be a- very helpful!- purple patch as it is that he kicks on and ends up at a higher level.

I honestly think Warnock will chuck it if results don't turn soon. It surely hasn't turned out to be as much of a laugh as he was expecting. This run might save them though, anything less than 6 points and the wheels are probably fully off.

Similar point but that game in October is the only time Martindale has beaten us in 10 attempts. Reckon if you asked the average Motherwell fan (maybe not us anoraks) folk would assume we had a much worse record against Livi over a 3 year period.

I sort of assumed that away teams agree to not rock the boat given that we shoot towards the South Stand first 99% of the time and surely aren't winning the toss with that sort of frequency. It's the same at other grounds mind, I always felt that if we were 1 down with a few minutes left at Accies then the away crowd started to spook them a bit.

It'll never not wind me up that we let away teams shoot toward their own fans second half. Even if it's something likely to swing it by about 1%.

If we'd hung on today we would have had to spend another week pretending Top Six was a possibility. It's for the best.

3 points on Wednesday and we're potentially only one more win away from not caring about this season anymore. That's as big an incentive as anything.
