Will Kelly really have doubled his wage? I don't really have any thoughts on the move other than being glad we're shot of him tbh- but I don't think Rangers would have came within a million miles of touching him if it wasn't for the homegrown thing with McLaughlin and McCorie leaving. Maybe (probably) they have just chucked a few grand extra at him because its what they do but I don't imagine they'd have had much competition for him other than L2 and maybe L1 clubs in England. Edit- I do realise the doubled his wage thing is a passing comment that I've jumped on and taken literally. I've just seen a few folk mention it in different places.

What's relegation?

Unrelated but I'm assuming you're the person most likely to know- any idea why some of the fixtures have flipped this year and some haven't? I.e we're at home to Ross County, Celtic and St Mirren (and away to Rangers and St Johnstone) in the first round of fixtures for the second season in a row. I had it in my head that they reverse every season.

I'm still a bit sad we never got to see the aftermath of a KVV POTY victory speech. It'd definitely be less box office than Higdons but much, much weirder.

Aye it's your list at the end of the day! I reckon if I reacquaint myself with a Higdon goal compilation I might see things differently.

Not that I don't love Higdon but KVV is a level above him for me. Similar goal returns in astronomically worse teams but with much more individual entertainment value while somehow having an even bigger chip on his shoulder.

I honestly think more has happened this June than in the entirety of some seasons.

I quite like it. I don't buy football tops and I don't really care what they look like but I can't generally tie them to a specific season in my memory unless they're a bit weird. I know the KVV season was when we went a bit Ajaxy and that Moult first season was when we had the sash. I honestly can't remember what our kit looked like last season except that I imagine it had a claret band in the middle.

I'd forgot about Koutroumbis too. I reckon we maybe have one more (non left-sided) defender than I'd expect us to but it's clearly an area where something needs to change from last season so I can't really begrudge Kettlewell trying literally anything.

Aye I was thinking that as well. Maybe we're not expecting McGinn to be able to play every week anymore? I'm assuming Balmer will start at RB and Blaney will probably get in because he's a left footer. Would Gordon come here to basically fill the Bevis role in the squad- probably not? I can't really see Casey dropping out either, for better or worse.
