Hayden had a consensus second round grade and only appeared in the 1st round picture on draft day when it was reported the Raiders were interested, and there were better players on the board at positions of need with the 2 DTs. The second pick was alright, but the 1st round was a reach.

Teams like the Steelers and Packers plucking the likes of Jarvis Jones and Eddie Lacy while the consistently woeful Bills and Raiders massively reach out of desperation as usual sums up the draft for me.

And thats why teams like the Packers contend every year while the same pile of dross are picking in the top 10.

Taylor's a good player, good enough to earn a starting job, very quick, ran a 4.3 forty. McDonald will replace Delanie Walker, shows how stacked the 49ers are they're taking backup tight ends in round 2.

Not surprised to see the Panthers double dip at DT, they were hopeless there the last couple of years. Both will fit in well with the likes of Hardy and Johnson already on the D-Line.

Its been reduced to 10 minutes because teams were taking the piss as every one of them know who they want to pick and they exhaust every possible scenario pre-draft, and as a result people were changing the channel. Most teams take the full time allocated to see if they get any decent trade offers. Roger Goodell has been spot on with the re-shuffling of the draft to make it more attractable to viewers.
