Yeah, as I say, 1000 is incredibly optimistic. It's hard to explain but there's a buzz about this Saints team there's hasn't been for a while, we've got a brand new young attack which seems to be firing, and there's a lot of optimism. If we can manage good results in the preceeding league games, that hype will be ramped right up, and Saints fans are a sucker for away days when they're excited.

Worth mentioning the European competition Dundee last qualified for ceased to exist almost a decade ago.

Our "readjustment" was last season, when we were pretty dire and genuinely had an ageing squad, and the likes of Hibernian and Kilmarnock retook their spot in the top half. If you're expecting St Mirren to become top six regulars then you'll be disappointed. We took advantage of Hearts/Hibs/Kilmarnock and Rangers all either being out the league or weakened, I doubt that'll all happen at once again.
