  1. No idea tbh, maybe just the length of his contract at Al Ahly? He signed a three and half year deal January 2017 so still a long way away.
  2. He's not had a club sine May 2017. The longer without a club he is, the less chance anyone will pay it.
  3. I know you're not serious, but he can't be registered as a player under fifa rules until the fines paid, there is no work around.
  4. Tbf he's right. They were 4-0 up from the first leg, the 8-1 was a, highly suspicious, second leg result.
  5. Depends on how much we'll be spending on Miller. He can cover all the left sided positions, will likely be happy with getting chances here and there, and should be cheaper than Driver. Hard to not feel sorry for Easton.
  6. Jason Kerr been very complimentary of Queens, and Naysmith in particular, in the papers today. He also believes of the three loanees we've sent you, Clark is the most popular.
  7. Would seem a bit pointless signing him as a left back considering we've got two left backs who are better. Left wing would maybe make sense, as we only have Kennedy for that position, still be surprised if we signed someone for there when we're still desperate for a central player, unless Celtic are heavily subsidising his wages. He certainly wouldn't be a regular player though.
  8. Got to love this. Bordeaux try to sign Morelos for less than his clubs value - "cheating b*****ds trying to ruin our season by unsettling us!" Rangers try to sign Lafferty for less than his clubs value - "he's not worth as much as they want so why should we bid that high?"
  9. Yes, fifa ruled he owed Al Ahly 1.2m US Dollars before he's allowed to be registered elsewhere. He spent months training with senior clubs last season but didn't come to anything as he's demanding the club he signs for pays the fine.
  10. Apparently Muzz is on 299 appearances, so Saturday will be his 300th. Anyone got an "all time appearances" list? Be interesting to see how many of the top ten have been here in the period from Coyle to now.
  11. How did that work? Was that when hampden was being used for the commonwealth games? Yeah Celtic Park hosted the Final, Rangers made more with both Semis being played at Ibrox than we made for winning it too. Didn't even get the money straight away, chairman was in the media highlighting the lack of payment 12 months later.
  12. I had heard we had made a small profit winning the challenge cup but in the most part the money in from the final had the sfa take a big cut then what was left was split 50/50 between us and the rangers. Think that season as a whole we made a loss though. Slightly related, but the year we won the Scottish Cup, the SFA and Celtic received more money from the final than we did.
  13. You'd have thought when he signed that Nabi boy, after trialling him for a month, and deciding to end the trial without a contract, would've shown he's reached desperation levels. Maybe just how I see it..
  14. Calum Hendry with two, so far, for our youths against Dundee United. We have a very decent selection of strikers.
  15. So they'd have you believe. History books will show United losing to St Johnstones youths, though.
  16. Bit late to the party, but folk looking for a car with lots of bootspace should stare at a Mk3 Octavia. In terms of "litres" the hatchback is bigger than a Golf estate, while the estate version is obviously bigger still, to the point people have claimed to get two adult sized bikes in them. I bought a 63plate VRS for ~£10k so a basic Octavia of a similar age should be approaching £7k-8k with highish mileage. They're also incredibly easy to f**k about with, mines is standard but a remap has it pushing 330bhp
  17. He left them without warning or permission, and refused to ever play for them again. Fifa ruled in Al Ahly favour when they took him to court, and £1.2m seemed to the figure he has to pay them before he's allowed to be registered at another professional club.
  18. Anyone who signs Coulibaly owes Al Ahly over £1m to sign him.
  19. Can we not just concede an incredible goal and not start piling the blame onto folk? The cross was unreal and the bounce killed any chance of it being headed away, the bounce occurred where Ando would've been, but he'd rightly followed a threat to force Hibs back. There was literally only one type of delivery possible to score from that position and Boyle nailed it. Theres not much between our centre halves. Gordon came on and performed just as well as Ando and Kerr, he also had a dodgy moment on the right where he let the ball bounce while under heavy pressure and just managed to kick the ball out before it was nicked off him and Hibs would've been in. All four centre halves have that in them. Fine margins. I'm happy for TW to play Kerr ahead of Gordon if he believes it'll help sell Kerr, as there's little between them, and if we do get a six figure fee for Kerr we can use that on a CM, bring Gordon in, and be just as good at the back. Just my opinion, obvs.
  20. Funny how often you read this on Rangers/Celtic threads when the other sets of fans appear..
  21. Celtic and Rangers fans have regularly come to McDiarmid and broken seats and/or broken toilets/sinks, I doubt you'll make as much money of them as you hope.
  22. Worth noting Watt is our first choice striker and genuinely looks like hes realised its his last chance. Still only 24.
