  1. Your apparently "close to Ayrs demands" over Shankland, and "personal terms won't be an issue"
  2. Was a striker in the U15 type age range, moved to left wing as he got older, then Rodgers has been attempting to make him a LWB.
  3. It's "madness" apparently. Yeah but that's @The ghost of Jim Morton, you can't expect much sense there apart from the odd shout about the back post.
  4. It's doesn't seem too bad to me, tbh, people thinking he should get a chance ahead of Kane. One bloke reckons we should be playing two up front against everyone except Celtic though, for some reason, and that doing that would bring fans streaming back.
  5. Coulson would've been class if he could've stayed fit, IMO.
  6. Was linked with St Mirren a few days ago but not heard anything since. Dont think he's what we need tbh, think Nydam was signed as the "playmaker" we've wanted all summer and the other target is someone who'll be capable of covering for Muzz. Just guessing though.
  7. Worth remembering that in 2016/17 he hit double figures in goals and assists in the top flight.
  8. I can't remember what type of player he is at all tbh, box to box is the best I can think of but not sure where I've picked that up from. We'll probably wake up to a new name tomorrow morning.
  9. Probably better for him it's League One, if that makes sense. Hopefully McCann is next. Still can't see these moves being enough for two signings though, mind you. Window shuts at midnight tomorrow? Callachan signed before 5, Swanson released by Hibs five minutes before midnight.
  10. You lot after a "10"? We've seemingly made a move for Swanson, and the obvious thing would be Scougall moving to free up wages needed. Just a feeling about you lot and him.
  11. We won't get both unless Scougall is moving on, I'd have thought. Wouldn't be a huge shock to find a Motherwell/St Mirren are willing are try and get more out Scougall for a fee, tbh. Imagine most would be happy with Scougall being sold for ~£75k, Swanson being signed for a nominal fee lower, then Callachan joining on loan for the season.
  12. Gameplay is all there is, folk reporting you sign Laporte from Man City for £15m in the first Master League window, and that Harry Kane regularly joins Bournemouth. SPFL being fully licensed will mean nothing when Hamilton are signing Leigh Griffiths for £3m.
  13. Scott Gemmill logic. "Why drop Premiership regular Kerr?" "Hes too old" "Oh, who you selecting then?" "David Bates" "But he's four months older?" "Aye but he once players for Ranjurs ken" At least we don't ignore talented youngsters based on who they play for.
  14. If Swanson was our final signing we'd be the most "stacked" attacking wise I can ever remember. Kennedy, Wright, Scougall, Swanson, Wotherspoon, Kane, McMillan, Watt and Hendry all scrapping over 3/4 positions. We're still short on left sided players so it would make sense that way, play him as a "10" with the knowledge he can play left if Kennedy is out. I'd rather another, more defensive, CM though. Maybe Nydam will be exactly that player and it'll free up the budget for a "luxury" signing. f**k knows though, just guesswork.
  15. I'm not sure what you expected? Konami always release an out of date game. Its pointless buying it on release day, just wait a week or two until patches come out/folk create option files. Another daft wee thing that annoys potential buyers.
  16. As always, that happened decades before my parents had even met, I don't care in the slightest
  17. What type of midfielder is he? We need a central player who'll be competent enough at this level if called upon, but who'll be happy to be on the bench once Murray Davidson returns from injury. Seems the type of cheap roll of the dice we might go for.
  18. You think Wightons wage is comparable to what Miller will be getting? Fwiw £2k a week is just over £200k over two years, before bonuses. That's a fair whack for a 40 year old.
  19. What do you think Miller's wages will amount to after two years?
  20. A player who's desperate to become a manager of a top flight club and has a history of undermining inexperienced managers, v Neil McCann, who has literally isolated most of his squad. This'll be fun to watch. How was Kenny Miller doing in charge of Livingston? As he'll spend every week trying to take control while on the pitch.
