  1. Seen a few folk mention they want Mick McCarthy and completely bewildered why they think it's even remotely plausible. He'll see himself as an EPL manager, why would he join a, at best, bottom half Scottish side he has no ties with? Your next manager will be Kenny Miller or John Hughes.
  2. Yeah, it's a struggle to understand why a prominent Rangers fan struggling for a job is playing up to Rangers fans. It's such an uncommon occurance.

I'll stick him on my wishlist, cheers. Building quite a decent team tbh, although I'll run out of ways to make money soon.
  4. Fifa, and PES, generally release the game with out of date squads but patch it fairly quickly after.

See someone's got Rivaldo already, doubt he'll manage to sell him anytime soon though. My Serie A side taking shape, mix of pack luck gained from SBCs and selling folk have helped me, got a full transfer list to sell which should build my first squad.

Go on WebApp, pick the option to get more Spanish players out packs, and get a raft of reward packs thanking me for returning. Open first pack, Gary Cahill and a bunch of shite Spaniards. Welcome back to Ultimate Team.
  7. So you already had everything set for "Progressive"? If so, seems bizarre to dump it weeks before you start getting increased funding from the SFA.
  8. It's a dangerous game to think you can replicate that at this level. They spend millions on data analysts and scouts solely focused on finding cast offs, and have developed a relationship with clubs around London who are aware Brentford will take and develop young players, and are willing to put huge sell on clauses in purely to get them. They also sign from lower down their pyramid and from abroad. Theres a difference between what they do and this idea of just signing any young player released by the Old Firm. We missed out on "elite" status too, but made the "progressive" category. Funding from the SFA was increased from before Project Brave. We've had to invest heavily in hiring more full time youth staff and upgrading facilities though. I think Falkirk have made a mistake dumping the system, despite my hatred for Project Brave, you weren't forced to go for the "elite" status and the "Progressive" would probably have only required a few full time coaches on top of what you had, as your youth set up was better than ours. Long term you need to be developing your own players.
  9. Hardie made it for me due to the last minute goal in Dumfries, and a game when we first came back up, where he literally got subbed on then scored a free kick with his first touch
  10. If we're all doing line ups then might aswell join in, it's favourites as there's no way I could avoid putting some in and you'd all laugh. Mannus Mackay - Duberry - James - Stanic Swanson - Hardie - Dasovic - Sheerin MacLean - O'Boyle Can probably guess my age
  11. Bit sad not to see Andos name mentioned more often, tbh. I'd definitely have him in a top five in my lifetime. In saying that I'd probably have Kevin James aswell though, purely because I loved the boy.
  12. Seems to be a common theme with McInnes failing to get the best out of players that other managers in this league have had success with. Every time I've seen you lot he's got Mays role in the team completely wrong compared to what it was with us, and you end up seeing all Mays weaknesses and none of his strengths. Seemed the same with Stewart and Tansey too, as obvious examples. I'm loathe to say it but his signings seem to be signed without him actually figuring out how to use them. May was fucking deadly for us in a two, and allowed to roam onto the wings at will, he was fucking woeful for a spell when MacLean was injured and he was the main focal point as a lone striker, yet McInnes seems to love chucking him up as a lone striker.
  13. He'll be back up I think now. Kerr will probably be gone in the next 18 months so Ando will still have a part to play.
  14. I think it's a matter of principle aswell. Fifa won't allow it due to the precedent it would set. If players find out they can walk out on contracts and sign elsewhere with no issues apart from paying back their contract over a few years, football would be fucked for smaller teams.
  15. I just fucked about with VCDS so my DRLs blink out of sync with my indicators. Love the petty pointless shite you can do with VAG cars

Demo last year was the same, then all the folk playing online started crying on twitter about it, so they reverted to making it all about pace again. It'll be the same this year.
  17. Does that constitute a bite? Suppose this is me biting further then, how embarrassing.
  18. Publicly chasing Wright, failing, then hiring your third choice, is literally all you're missing from replicating United relegation season.
  19. Craig Brown, Archie Knox and Craig Brown dream team. Team talks would be fun...
  20. Absolutely agree. A lot of folk seem desperate for the new plate sitting at their door though.
  21. Motherwell and Craig Brown spring to mind, can't remember his age or how long he'd been "out the game" when they hired him though. Think he steadied them. He was 69 and hadnt been a manager in five years.
  22. I wouldn't go MG myself, parts can be a bit steep and reliability is poor. As has been said, diesel with your mileage would probably cause some issues. Ever thought about Fiestas? https://www.arnoldclark.com/used-cars/ref/ARNGS-U-263194?utm_source=autotrader&utm_medium=autotrader&utm_campaign=autotrader Just a suggestion as I've no idea bout your budget or that, but that's almost the top of the range one, you get free road tax, and it's got a turbo so will be fine on motorway journeys. Can get higher CC versions with a touch more power for around the same price, this was just the first one I saw. There will be other colours for the same price too, but worth keeping in mind when gauging how much you'd maybe spend on a different brand of car. Had a Mark 1 Octavia, boot was vast and rear leg room was limo-like. Now got a Superb and it's even bigger, just moved my daughter to uni and you would not believe how much I got in it. Had Skodas for 20 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I love them, just a total all rounder. I got a three drawer chest in without folding the seats down, to my own amazement. Heard the Superbs are incredible inside but haven't seen the new ones.
  23. Would St Mirren have any course for legal action over such a piece? It feels like the media have free reign to spread whatever shite they want without any issue.
