  1. That sort of wage would be a hell of risk if he flops, though. Suppose every signing is a risk.
  2. Caulker sounds like an outstanding signing, you have to wonder whats wrong with him that's ended with him as a free agent signing for Dundee in February, though.
  3. Aye annoy the b*****ds as much as you can, they wouldn't be shy in pestering you.
  4. You've got no chance of not having to pay a penny. Worth noting there's a company in Glasgow called J C Transmissions, who are absolutely brilliant at repairing gearboxes. Find an independent, or do it yourself, to take the gearbox out and take it down to them, if you've booked a slot with them you have it back within an hour, or they'll sell you a new box cheaper than anywhere else.
  5. Is that what the third version of Rangers will be called?
  6. Definitely. It's hard to gauge when you've got TW moaning about not getting his targets every window, which piles the blame onto the chairman, and then the chairman himself has an ill informed article in the paper which heaps more of it towards him. I'd be interested to know who's decision it was to renew the likes of Mackay and Wrights contract, and then release them a few months later, and whether those sort of situations have affected the transfer business since. I'd also be curious to know who decided to give the likes of Keith Watson a two year contract.
  7. If the monsters at the door, what the fucks inside the house? That's a jibe at Rangers and Celtic btw, incase you didn't quite understand it. The joke was approved by a board of folk I asked, so it's definitely funny.
  8. You highlighted Scougall as a player who has "let the manager down"
  9. Ones ghat stick out are Rangers and Aberdeen at home, he had multiple cut backs in those games where nobody had the brains to just hold back and have a tap in. He's not creating enough goals, that's something we both agree on. Whether thats his fault for not being good en out, TWs for playing him out of position, or his team mates fault for never getting onto any pass, is a matter of opinion
  10. I don't think there's any doubt he's not been as good as he was wanted, or needed, but I find it bizarre he's been targeted for ire.
  11. If Scougall was signed to replace Swansons goal return then its not him that needs questioned, I doubt he's scored over five goals in his whole career. He creates scoring chances, which stats show he's doing for us, so what else are we expecting? Or are you away to cite assists despite constantly saying theyre not an accurate way of measuring a players effectiveness?
  12. Was posted up on January 30th. I don't think he's doing the business, Im just saying he's shown he can create chances even in a poor team, when out of position, so it's a bit harsh to be blaming him.
  13. Tbf to Scougall his "key passes" stat is one of the better ones in the league, and he's been crippled by having the "movement" of Steven Maclean in front of him. The hope was we'd get two pacey wingers and a pacey striker to give him options when on the ball. I also don't think TW is seeing Scougall and not Swanson yet either, fwiw.
  14. He's struggled out wide, generally getting doubled up on with absolutely no support, looked decent in the number ten role in the couple of games he's had there, but in terms of bare facts he's not contributing. Always works hard but nothing seems to come off for him.
  15. Even games we've won we haven't played well. I've not seen us play well all season, but we apparently played well away to Hibs, Rangers, Celtic and Hearts.
  16. He's lost his motivation, it seems. His "woe is me" act has been growing for a while now, spends the whole time blaming the chairman for not signing who he wants, and is now blaming the players for not getting results. He might be right, chairman is a well known tight arse and there's a lot of individual mistakes, but I'm not convinced he's blameless here, I can't think of a single player he's brought in who's a long term solution to any problem. His most successful signings MOH/Swanson leave after a season and then your looking at Shaughnessy as the best, a lower half CH who simply can't cope with physical strikers.
  17. We've never built on a good performance all season. Beat Hibs at Easter Road, fail to win any of the next four. Beat Rangers at Ibrox, fail to win any of the next six. Dominate Hearts, get pumped by Motherwell a few days later. Both the goals last night seemed to stem from nobody wanting the ball, which is why we hand away a throw in, and then Shaughnessy gets caught on it, that's been an issue we've had for seasons now.
  18. You'd think that after six months of them failing, something TW recognised publicly, and then this happening once they all return to the team, he'd finally, finally, give up on them.
  19. One of the games in hand is Kilmarnock. The County game, and Dundee game, are massive. You genuinely believe we'll get points off County at home, and Dundee at Dens, from what you've seen this season? TW leaving for NI in December would've been perfect. Hes still blind to the issues and January was a complete farce. He waited until the final few days to move for anyone because he was so desperate to get Swanson and MOH. Even on Deadline Day, after being consistently told since Mid-December that MOH wasn't for sale, he kept asking Rangers about him. Willock came off the bench. No idea how he done. We've a winger to get fit who sounds absolutely ridiculous and a proper season changer, but he'll probably never be fit and thats why hes ended up at us. McMillan the striker was wanted by half the league, his got absolutely fucked in his debut, still staggers me there wasnt a red card, and is out for the month though.
  20. Have to assume so, he was apparently on trial before deadline day so he was maybe here all of last week, and we'd tried to extend it to include this week aswell. Pure speculation though.
  21. Williams? BBC says he'll start training "later this week"
  22. Jonathan Franks has signed a deal until the end of the season
  23. TBF to Ludo, all offers for key players should be rejected when your in the midst of a relegation battle, you've not got any replacement, and its half an hour from the deadline. While the "every player has a price" mantra is bang on for clubs our size, its got to be a sensible sale.
