  1. Just have to wait and see, worth considering hes older than Hemmings and only has a year left on his deal. £150k seems reasonable based on that.
  2. It really is tbh, and the articles are nothing to do with him
  3. Its worth noting Sporting Lisbon said they couldn't afford his wages just one month ago
  4. It has yeah. Its a figure that pops up everytime hes linked away, much like Hemmings and £250k.
  5. £400k has always been a rumoured fee for him, probably has a release clause too
  6. Worth noting we received over £1m for May in the end, who only had one god top flight season.
  7. Thanks for that Ludo, I'll be sure to quote this next week when he leaves for peanuts.
  8. Might be realistic once Birmingham give you another £250k for Stewart today
  9. Its fun looking through old transfers. United got the same amount for a GMS with six months left on his contract who was demanding a move
  10. Hibs got the same figure for James Collins United got three times as much for Russell who had less than a year left on his contract
  11. Only £35k more than what Falkirk got for Mark Stewart
  12. Are you still acting ITK after your "£500k" shite
  13. Population of Oxford: 158,000 Population of Birkirkara: 22,000
  14. It'll be a case of a journalist asking someone at the club and being told this, considering its the same journalists who broke the move, and had the first interview with the player.
  15. I'm not. Jackson Irvines fee was reported as a "record breaking fee" and filled with quotes about being a signal of intent. Mays was reported as "over £800k" and as a signal of intent. In reality both initial fees were below the reported figures. Its something English clubs do.
  16. I doubt the figure will ever come out, unless you lot do go into some mental breakdown and all the shite gets spilled into the gutters, but I can't imagine Oxford would have any real benefit in putting a lower figure on it than there was, English clubs have a habit of over-inflating the fee as some form of cock measuring contest.
  17. Its fairly clear both Dundee and Oxford have decided to keep quiet about the actual figure, but Oxford have given the press down there a vague figure of "six figures but not close to a record fee" to placate the journalists and fans.
  18. That makes its even better. Star striker sold for peanuts, star winger demanding a move, cult hero frozen out for refusing to slash his wages, captain as a high earner but out for most of the season and rumours the budget needs cut further. Tremendous.
