  1. Yep. Don't feel the scoreline was really a true representation of the game. Poor defending for the first and a mistake that Hamilton capitalised on for the second.

Thought Gallacher and Cooper played well, as did Grant. O'Hara could've had a goal or two.

Shepherd is horrendous, as was Smith.

Any ideas about the trialist? How did he play also?

  2. I wouldn't spend money to get 1st or 2nd specifically but if the right player is identified and would enhance us bring him in in January.

Best case it helps us finish 2nd (and 2 less play off games) and worst case the new player(s) is embedded for next seasons assault.

Next season will be tough too and no easier with Dundee United down and possibly one other.

  3. i wasnt at this meeting, whats going to be in there thats going to make us money?

BPM talks about the investors/directors making money, not FFC.

However, from what I've gathered, FFC will benefit from the new development from: Increased capacity (when needed), hospitality/bar facilities that will retain more profit, gym/sports facilities for the 1st team and development teams.

For me, I'm looking forward to watching the game side on again. As much as I like and prefer the SS id like a spot similar to the choir at Brockville for sentimental reasons. Main stand in front of me and home behind the goals to the left.

  4. We have shown before when in the SPL that we are capable of filling more than 6,000 seats, so the South Stand was necessary.

We haven't shown when in the SPL that we are capable of filling more than 8,000 seats, so another stand is folly. A colossal waste of money.

I've seen Falkirk fill both the West and South stands maybe 2 or 3 times in 10 years without the need to give tickets to the Old Firm, Hearts or Hibs.

For the rest of the games, inc in the SPL, very rarely would we need much more than 4500 seats that the West Stand holds for home supporters.

If FFC were paying to complete the stadium on their own, I'd be less keen to throw money at it, but as it stands we can complete the stadium, add extra footballing facilities and gain income generating options (for the club) for less than a million quid.

We may never get another chance, or better one.
