Celtic advised FFC to sell them in a specific order. I believe it was Non RV, RV & then the remaining Non RV tickets closest to the segregation. If anyone has turned down RV tickets, maybe worth a call to the shop now

I’m of the same opinion. Also, it’s good to be going back to that type of stadium again after all of the random places seen in the last 5 years. Which isn’t a bad thing but I’d far rather be visiting top flight stadiums than not for the obvious reason.

Cappielow used to be brilliant in the 80s and 90s when the away fans got a section of the cowshed. Always great banter across the fence and good sound made too. WDE is awful but far better than the main stand.

I’m not sure thats true. Plenty of the older stadiums down south have RV tickets and there doesn’t seem to be any issue with them doing it. Celtic have had this pillar issue 30 years almost so can’t be too much of an issue up here either.

Wouldn’t shock me if the RV tickets are the first section they need to sell too as why else would you mention it. If it were those being sold last then those buying last would just need to take it or leave it.

I think they’d let Celtic sell themselves. You wonder if we’ve declined that option (due to Celtic sales starting this week) or maybe not given it I suppose.

100% not on the club. Sounds like there was a range of factors, starting with Thistle underestimating their likely crowd. Re the car park, there are at least 3 stewards who don’t do anything bar stand at a temp fence to stop it being blown down by the wind. These guys could have been better utilised but I’m sure the club will be all over this in future and will end up having the inside of the stand ready just Incase for some fixtures (Pars, Raith, Thistle, Ayr & maybe Airdrie).

I think they really will need to look at clearing the full stand just in case. Well for some of the games. No need for Accies, Queens Park, Livingston and likely Morton.

Achieving nothing of note is what they have been good at for the almost 40 years I’ve watched Scottish football. Feel sorry for them too that even with our banter years behind us, we are still more likely to grace the top flight again before them. Oh the banter.

They must have a plan B for their equipment as Hearts had the full stand open the week before. FWIW my only gripe having seen all of the comments including Jamie’s on Twitter is that there appears to be an abundance of under used stewards in the home car park. 1 or 2 could have been brought over to help man 2 extra turnstiles. It wouldn’t have helped with the closed pie stall at that end but would have helped entry to the stadium. Agree that the way forward is just to make all games all ticket. We are so far down the road now since COVID that most fans know they can’t use cash on the day.
