And not we've brought on Blair Malcolm... let's see how much that change weakens us and invites The Spartans onto us. -

I'm most certainly not confident of that. I reckon we need at least 1 if not 2 more before I would have even the slightest confidence in us seeing it out -

Promising squad news with us adding to the injury list every week just now . Now missing Carlo, Kalvin, Crighton and D Wilson in addition to the long term guys. The last few weeks really have fucked us, but I also partly blame the manager for his piss poor management of the squad over that time. Wonder who will pick up a niggle tomorrow and be out next week... -
It's way worse than in the last year though. This decline has been happening since we dropped out of the Championship and particularly over the last few years where we have become a laughing stock in so many ways. The papering over the cracks just seems a helluva lot more exposed now than it has in the years prior.

Put simply, terrible goalkeeping. You can misjudge something like that so badly. As already mentioned, he's been a huge disappointment. If that was 1 mistake in isolation then fair enough, but it's basically every week we are questioning something from him. -

Having watched it back again, I think you're being harsh on our first goal. I'd say it was easily the highest quality of all 5 scored yesterday. We are soooo bad at defending crosses into our box -

How do you think we feel?? -

Why are we so bad in the air? We aren't a particularly small side, but both offensively and defensively, we hardly ever win anything! We lose far too many goals from crosses/set plays and don't threaten anywhere near enough from them at the other end. Is this season done yet? Is Farrell still in charge? Have our players found a single pair of cojones between them yet? -

As I said before, predicting that we would bottle it wasn't all that difficult. We are a team of underachieving failures managed by a reasonable enough coach, but hopeless gaffer. Pish. -

Unfortunately that's difficult to predict, unlike expecting this gang to bottle it yet again. -
Whenever there's any kind of pressure on us, whether it be today, a game vs Stenny when we were still considered "title contenders" or vs the bottom sides when we are expected to win (on paper)... they just bottle it. Every single time. It's happened far too often to be coincidence and, for me, it comes from the top. Farrell and his team are bottle merchants and it's spread throughout this group of players, again!

Get Farrell to f**k. This group have absolutely no bottle when it comes to any games with pressure on them. -

What are the East Fife fans doing without Waldo to moan about? Finally, young Jack Healy can be involved without fear of big bad Ryan terrorising him. -

Ironically, last time I ordered the East Fife stream I moaned about the price. I got some pelters because "I was playing for the better quality" etc... it was fucking shite. Dodgy sound, the camera was stuttering all over the place. Even still, I was very close to buying todays.... thankfully, I was talked out of it! -

Yeah I'd agree, in the moment of course we would say that. Most of us felt that those 2 were like for like (I still do pretty much) but the contrasting seasons we have had with the players partnering each of those tells the story of each of our season more than anything else. I still think a fit Durnan is potentially the best defender in the league and alongside Crighton could form the best CB pairing in the league. We haven't seen that for months though...

It's difficult to judge on that really. Annan are second bottom and I'd imagine don't make all half as many chances as their opponents in most weeks. See, Nisbet; Kevin for another example of how a striker in a team who hardly see any possession and are battling it out, won't do any favours for the attacking player. Hopefully he offers us a different option if he has pace to burn. I feel like we have lacked the same counter attacking threat since Matty Shiels left us. We look laboured far too often when we gain possession.

I have to say, I don't think Stranraer were very good at all. They had plenty of the ball but other than Ben Armour's header, they didn't look like nearly scoring. I think we were good value for the win over the 90 mins. Although I agree that Farrell deserves some credit for making the changes (ones we have all been suggesting for weeks but it took him til yesterday to see...) I also think he invited the pressure in the last 15 mins or so. Every sub made us more defensive and I didn't think that was right approach, albeit we ended up with the 3 points. I think Michael Ruth and Tony Wallace in particular started to tire out of it as the game went on. They were superb in the first half though. T Wallace in particular always makes good use of the ball, compared to other players we have been starting ahead of him in recent weeks. Watching yesterday and he very rarely loses possession and usually when he finds a teammate we are in a better position than when he received the ball. Like others, I'm very concerned about Michael Ruth's fitness! He is having to play 90 mins in every game and we will fall apart without him available. I'd be concerned as a Stranraer fan. They are rotten and with Clyde's result yesterday, I could see them in some trouble in the coming weeks. The only saving grace is that Stair Park is a tough place to go. Without checking, I'd imagine their form at home is slightly better than their away form.
