  1. Before Saturday I was confident we'd win at least a couple of games and be fine. Now I struggle to see where the next goal is coming from, let alone a win. We're in freefall and right now I'd bite your hand off for 11th. Davidson is obviously the biggest problem, but the players themselves are proving to be a bunch of useless shitebags. Saturday was fucking awful.
  2. Difference is Bair is our player, Rudden isn't and hasn't shown enough to be worth pursuing. Although I agree about Bair, I'd be offering him a mutual termination in the summer.
  3. Totally agree. There's no "probably" for me with Rudden. He doesn't lack effort, but he does lack quality. Clark is definitely a big miss. If we stay up we absolutely MUST have better quality up front next season.
  4. I have little sympathy for Gordon. He made a mistake after halftime (that he got away with) and immediately felt his hamstring. He was clearly unfit and as club captain he should have had the balls to admit this. Whether he was unfit to start only he knows, but he clearly should not have come out for the second half. He had another nightmare today and it riles me that he was on the pitch while Mitchell was on the bench. Overall we were garbage. Other than Mathews and Phillips, the rest of them were rubbish today - not one of them can claim otherwise. Sadly, I think Spoony showed why he has been playing so little recently. It pains me to see such a legend struggling so badly. As for Davidson, sorry you need to go Callum. We've seen some crap the last two seasons but today was a new low.
  5. Other than wedging Brown in to a position that doesn't suit him, I'm quite happy with that team. 2-0.
  6. Nah, sorry. The guy is breaking the law. If your bosses are allowing that, they are also breaking the law. "We live in the 80s" isn't an excuse.
  7. If he's young in your eyes, I'm not sure he's 7 yet. On a serious note, how come no-one at your work has either pulled him up for it or even reported him to management?
  8. If we're going one up front on Saturday then I'd rather it was Rudden. I love Stevie May but he's not a lone striker.
  9. That's a very fair point. I'm still averse to the adverse effect his negative interviews have on the fans and how they affect the morale of the team.
  10. Actually just realised that we've only extended Ferguson by one season. Would have hoped for a longer deal than that.
  11. We should be talking to Phillips about extending as well. Ferguson signing is good news. Hallberg can go - too expensive for signing little return (this season).
  12. You could quite easily get six of these points against us,
  13. The Gretna game was great, but it didn't compare to the Airdrie one. The standard of football from Saints that day was superb. Plus the Gretna game didn't have a crowd of almost 10k. As Tam said, the atmosphere was incredible.
  14. Nah, that's part of the reason. I just have no connection to international football. Or Champions league, English football etc. None of it interests me.
  15. Pretty much my feelings too. It's ridiculous that we've had one 2 minute appearance by Muzz in the last dozen years. It's completely disconnected me from the national team.
  16. Davidson will set us up to hang on for a point. We'll lose a late shitty goal and go down 1-0. Davidson will blame Eetu Vertainen.
  17. There is absolutely no way I'd accept a pre-poured pint. If I'm pay a fiver plus for a pint I want to see it poured. You'd have no idea how long a pre-poured pint had been there. A bottle bar to the side as used to happen before European games a few years ago would be fine.
  18. Nah sorry Tam - McCann in particular would still have gone, given the money on offer. I think Kerr would have too.
