  1. Great just hope that run continues on Saturday for you. First win of the season for the Binos coming up.
  2. Well we travel to Coatbridge on Saturday in the search of our first points of the season after 4 looses on the trot by a single goal. The thought running thru most Binos fans is can we get something on Saturday or will we be looking at 5 straight defeats in the row. ? Always a difficult place to get points and the Rovers have had a decent start to the season but lost last weekend to Brechin at home 1-0 so that hopefully gives us some hope we might get something. Need to get points on the board and not let too big a gap develop between ourselves and teams above us if we want to have any chance of doing something this season. Prediction Albion Rovers 1 Binos 2
  3. If things continue along the same lines No Wins and bottom of the League for much longer then he will be away long before Jan. No way can we afford to finish 10th in this League.
  4. Well another defeat, again by a single goal this time 2-1. We at last managed to get a goal but in all fairness we did very little in the game to deserve anything. Highlight for most Albion fans would have been seeing a cracking shot come off the bar. With Brechin winning at Albion Rovers that leaves us bottom of the League. Next week we travel to Coatbridge and hope to try to get something. Another loss their and the call to remove KR will become louder. Worrying times at Forthbank.
  5. That's good, nice to see a decent travelling away support at Forthbank, enjoy the game and don't take it too badly if the Binos beat you today.
  6. As the only Cove fan I have seen posting on this forum, can you tell me how many Cove fans you reckon will be coming down to Forthbank today. ?
  7. I just wonder how many will make the journey down to Forthbank for the game, I would like to think that a decent number would turn up for their first visit to us. I would expect for the return fixture to Cove a larger than normal Albion support would turn up at their place. It does seem strange that their is no comment from any Cove fans on here. Given they are top of the League at the moment the lack of any appearance of a Cove fan on here is even more remarkable. Just hope if they win tomorrow this thread will not be unindated with Cove fans crowing about how they beat the Albion. [emoji3]
  8. Do Cove have any fans out their and if they have do they not know how to get on the internet. ? Seems like everyone who posts about Cove supports another team but nothing from Cove fans. [emoji853]
  9. Good listening especially about his time with the Albion.
  10. Think we are due to break our duck in that department. Cove whist scoring goals do concede a few, so the signs are good for Saturday. Whether we get anything from the game remains to be seen, you never know we might just surprise a few people and get something.
  11. Both Currie and Nicoll have done well for us considering the poor start we have had. Nicoll is the type of player we have been missing in our midfield a tough no nonsense player. Currie has established himself as our No 1 in goals and has done well despite the defeats.
  12. Thanks for the advice I will be sure KR will find it interesting.
  13. First visit of the season for new boys Cove Rangers to Forthbank to face an Albion side winless after 3 games, after losing all 3 games 1-0. On paper you would expect Leaders Cove to win this game and I cant see past a Cove victory here against an Albion side that has yet to score a goal so far this season in the League. Can the Binos surprise Cove and their own fans on Saturday by SCORING A GOAL and getting some points on the board I would be very surprised but you never know we might just turn the corner on Saturday and surprise everybody. Here`s hoping for a decent game of football and not hoof the ball from the Albion. Fully expect us to be still looking for our first points to the season on Saturday. Prediction Binos 1 Cove Rangers 2
  14. Albion Rovers 2 -Brechin City 1 Cowdenbeath 1- Annan Athletic 2 Queens Park 2 -Elgin City 1 Stenhousemuir 0 -Edinburgh City 1 Stirling Albion 1- Cove Rangers 2
  15. Agree with your comments re Danny Jardine, wasted in our team at present. Deserves to be playing at a higher level. Just hope KR manages to turn things around soon, otherwise we will be looking for a new manager.
  16. Spot on especially in the 2nd half with the wind causing problems, all we could do was hoof it up the park and no surprise when we could not create anything. Goal that was chalked off imo was okay but got chalked off by the linesman for offside. Would like to se highlights to see if the linesman got it right but it looked okay to me. Next point where is it coming from ? no idea and on performances recently East Fife game excepted we have struggled to get the ball in the net, sure we have been unlucky at times but we seem to have lost the knack of scoring. If this form continues I reckon St Mirren Colts will fancy their chances in the Scottish Scaremonger Biscuit Cup.
  17. Another 1-0 defeat what a Surprise. [emoji30]
  18. Coral was offering 3/1 on an Albion victory just had to have a punt on that.
  19. Would we be that lucky to have him back again his pace would frighten League 2 defences.
  20. Hope he is back could do with all the help at centre back. [emoji3]
  21. Annan 1 Albion Rovers 1 Brechin City 1 Queens Park 1 Cove 2 Cowdernbeath 0 Edinburgh City 1 Stirling Albion 1 Elgin 2 Stenhousemuir 0
  22. Travel to Ainslie Park on Saturday to face a City side looking to get their 2nd win of the season. After a disappointing start to the League season two 1-0 defeats we need to start picking up points if we are not to be left stranded at the bottom this early in the season. Last nights win at East Fife will have boosted confidence and give us some hope to get something on Saturday. Need to start scoring goals if we have to have any chance of getting something from tis game. Prediction City 1 Binos 1
  23. St Mirren Colts v Stirling Albion not the tie wanted by most Albion fans fancied a nice away trip to Wales, Ireland, Republic of Ireland but we end up at Paisley. Still hopefully should be winnable and we progress to the next round and a better draw.
  24. We can’t go on forever not scoring, gonna break our duck hopefully before that. We just need a break in front of goal to get confidence up and you never know we could be in the hunt for a playoff place before long.
  25. Poor start to the season of that their is no doubt but hopefully the team can surprise us on Saturday,City only won last week due to a injury time goal so their is hope for us to get something. Cove game you never know on form just now looks like an away win but whilst they can score goals they let 4 in last week against Albion Rovers so fingers crossed that we can get something. Don't think if we lose to Albion Rovers that KR like Dave MacKay will get the bullet, just hope we don't get to the stage of having to find another manager again.
