  1. Or could it be that that Albion fans were making a Political statement that in the biggest City in Scotland that their are still many areas of social deprivation where large numbers of people require the use of Foodbanks due to the Tory austerity cuts ?
  2. Don't think so unless Sauchie manage to get promoted to Lowland League from the East of Scotland League.
  3. Tbf to KR at least he knows the other teams in this League being Assistant at Annan which is more than MacKay did when he got the job. Wish the new man all the best for the forthcoming season I think he will need it trying to get the team moving hopefully up the League.
  4. Martin Hardie appointed Assistant Manager to KR, good luck to both of them in their new roles.
  5. Well that's pretty rich coming from a Berwick fan who are below us in the League. I wish your new manager Johnny Harvey I believe all the best in the coming season, he`s going to need it.
  6. Well it’s not a name the vast majority of Albion fans would recognise. Former Assistant Manager of Annan Athletic, so he should have a good idea of this League. Wish him well in his new role but he got a tough debut on Saturday against the League Leaders Edinburgh City.
  7. Mackin will not be available to play for us today as he is not eligible. He will however be available for next weeks League game against Edinburgh City.
  8. Yes noticed that, wonder who signed him, no manager, interim management team and we sign a player ! Would have thought that we would have waited until the new manager was in the door before any players are signed, is their something happening in the background ? that the fans are not being told about.
  9. Yes experience in the Lower Leagues, did a good job with Kelty with its let’s be said a good budget behind him. Not against him being appointed and if he does get the job wish him well and if he can get as out of the f**king basement League the n great.
  10. Don't think it will be Berwick, no money. If he goes to another Club suspect it might be Dumbarton or Airdrie.
  11. Willie Robertson has left the Club due to work commitments, wish him well for the future.
  12. That's the Dundee United job taken care of, wouldn't expect the vacant jobs at Berwick, Queens Park, Airdrie and Stirling to attract the same calibre of manager that would be interested in the Dumbarton and Partick jobs. Just hope whoever we get at Forthbank gets the team moving up the League.
  13. Agree what we need now is someone with experience to steady the ship and get the players playing to their potential. Still think we have not a bad squad of players what we need is someone to get the best out of them or else they will be out the door. We must have the 3rd or 4th best budget in this League but on the park it does not seem like it at times.
  14. If he is interested in the job might be quite happy as No 2 at Clyde and wait his time. Various names being banded about on the Rave On website but its whether some of those would be interested in dropping down to the basement level and try to fix the problems at Forthbank.
  15. Strathspey had a man sent off in the 2nd half and were unlucky not to go in front after equalising, Fort had a chance near the end to pinch the points but could not get the winner. Draw a fair result for both teams.
  16. Will be on holiday in Fort William for a couple of days with my Campervan, notice they play Strathspey Thistle on Wednesday night. Think I will pop along as Caravan Park is not far from the ground. Both teams have no points thus far this season, might the Fort win this one or will Strathspey Thistle get their first one of the season. What ever happens can`t see Strathspey scoring 8 or 10 against the Fort but you never know.
  17. Of course we will one of these days somebody is going to get a right doing from us, when it will happen is another matter.
  18. If ONLY we could get a 0-0 draw, I would be more than happy.
  19. I`d be surprised if after 5 games with no points the Board decides to get rid of him, reckon the Albion Rovers game if we haven't started to pick up points by then will be the turning point. Lets face it if we don't get anything from that game it beggars the question where we will finish in this League this season. Regarding who do we get, I`m quite sure that if the Albion job came up we would have no shortage of candidates applying for the job.
  20. I reckon the game against Albion Rovers at the end of September could be the decider unless the team starts picking up the points. After the Elgin game we have a free weekend followed by 2 home games against Queens Park and Annan. Both games should be winnable but fail to take a decent amount of points from these 2 games might make the Albion Rovers game away even more important.
  21. If the team does not start to pick up points soon then Yes is the answer. Hope he manages to turn it around and gets us going in the right direction up the League.
  22. Agree with your comments felt that Broxburn just about deserved to nick it at the end but Camelon only have themselves to blame for not taking the chances they had last night and it might have been a different story, but that's football for you. Still we move on to Saturday and hopefully get back on track with a win.
  23. Good on Dave MacKay for making it quite clear what a load of bollocks this story is. Just shows what a load of nonsense some journalists make up create a story. Now if they are looking for a story then maybe the fact that 2 Directors of the Club have just jacked it in within the last 24 hours might be worthy of an article in a paper.
