  1. Everyone is poised. Ready to strike. Many are too scared to jump the gun in case they end up on 1689 or 1691!
  2. To be fair, everyone of fair mind who goes onto RM to try and remonstrate with the illiterati over there are handed a swift banhammer and called a *****. Perhaps you should do the same (minus the bigotry) to this mongstrosity. And no that last word in my previous sentence wasn't a typo.
  3. You've waited four whole months tp type those two words. You smarmy bugger.
  4. LOL @ typing out the word 'Sigh' Are you Pepe Le Pew? Do you actually say 'Sigh' when you're sighing?
  5. James Traynor posting about online vitriol. I'm assuming he means this forum. If so, Traynor, I know you're reading; You are a fucking hopeless apologist. You are keeping a good journalist out of a job, go fuck yourself over the skull with a heavy wrench, if you don't kill yourself, you'll at least increase your intelligence exponentially. There's vitriol for you, you absolute CUNT.
  6. To be honest, if there's one person who is more than happy to see this dragged out, it will be Div. P&B was already hugely successful and had a massive amount of traffic through it before all of this. As a result of this one thread though, the site is now busy for about 18 hours a day and has had a ton of new members to welcome in the last 3 and a half months. He'll be coining it in! Div. you better be sending Rangers a bunch of flowers. In fact, hold off for another few weeks and get them a wreath instead.
  7. Referring to rumours that Reg Brealey is one of Green's backers (Wokcomble's posts on previous page). Brealey tried to buy St. Mirren and Morton at separate points in 1997 despite previously running Sheffield Utd into the ground and being investigated on all sorts of financial wrongdoings. There was a BBC Scotland documentary about how unethical a businessman he was, but instead of proclaiming a witch hunt, the Saints fans took heed of this and rose up to oppose his takeover. Stewart Gilmour came in an bought SMFC from under his feet. The rest, as they say, is history. To this day, Gilmour is still proclaimed by many as 'the man who saved us from Brealey', to rumours that he could be involved in CG's big for Rangers, is to say the least, interesting. An article from WSC in 1999 about him: http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/4033/29/
  8. I'm pleased to see that 5 days after adding it, my Duff and Phelps amendment to their Wiki page has stood the test of time and avoided the wrath of the editors! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duff_%26_Phelps
  9. We have a chairman willing to make a stand, and a total apologist for a manager. You have a manager willing to make a stand and a total apologist for a chairman. Go figure, eh?
  10. My understanding is that the CoS can judge the punishment 'illegal', but have no powers to actually overturn the embargo as they have no direct powers to do so. The SFA could tell them and Rangers it stands and that's that. At least, that's what my interpretation of the ruling was.
  11. I drink in Paddy's, I can say with out a shadow of a doubt, there is nothing in the pub associating it in anyway with Celtic or it's fans. There are tons of photos of the regulars before LC Final, SC Semi, 1st division champions day, ticket stubs, Illustrated St. Mirren pictures, a Saints shirt behind the bar and there used to be a massive Saints badge on the wall of the bogs. Some guy has passed the pub, saw the name, saw St. Mirren fans inside and has exploded with seethe.
  12. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=221601 What a bunch of fucking idiots. What exactly did Stewart Gilmour have to do with the Duncan Ferguson situation? He wasn't even Chairman of SMFC for another 3 years after the said incident.
  13. CVA pot is 8.5 million. Cammy, CVA plus administrators fees is 11.7 million. CVA plus admin plus liquidation is 17.9 million. Neither gives any money back to unsecured (or indeed any) creditors. That's why a CVA isn't going to happen.
  14. Thank the sky fairy that someone else on here gets it. This has legs, there are hurdles to come, lots of them, and much higher than the one today.
  15. I don't believe for a second the entire process is that cut and dried though. If so, why hasn't NewCo happened yet? Every loose end could be tied up in hours.
  16. So if they expelled Rangers from the league in the first place, there would have been no appeal forthcoming? Away and don't talk shite.
  17. My point exactly. Had Gatusso been worthy of any sort of sell-on fee, then it would have been an outside possibility. However, last I checked, he was blind in one eye, past it, playing very little and on the verge of getting his face panned in by Joe Jordan. You can't draw money from an old crock like him.
