  1. This should be a cracker of a match Anyone know the odds for this match result?
  2. Suppose it is what it is and we are hear now. We are headed in the right direction, it is very slow and not the way most would have wanted but look back 5, 6, 10 years ago, never thought back then we would be at the stage we are now which is great but knowing what we all know, it should have progressed a lot earlier
  3. Whatever anyone says JG has been good for Darvel ! on the condition that the club are not in debt and the facilities they have are all theirs and that they have money in the bank to fulfil the players and staffs contracts, if so then Id say well done.. Anyone who comes in with money for any club will eventually finish with the club, money wise but clubs with money men aren't always successful, they need the right management, committee, staff etc.. to all come together and push the club on. Has Darvel been successful? Majority on here will say defiantly not, I however will say yeah, they are considered a premier league team now, (for how long though, haven't clue) and they have given, what i term is the biggest shock in Scottish Football with the Scottish cup win over Aberdeen. I still remember Darvel as being one of those Ayrshire teams that you'd expect to get an easy 3 points from but changed days, will they go back to that level, don't know but I can't see them going any higher from where they are now so eventually as the fan base isn't that big, they could teeter in the future with relegation but they have sponsorship in place for the next 5 season so they have to be in a good place
  4. The disrespect is from where, individuals on this forum, your gonna get that but not from clubs, all clubs just want a fair crack and level playing field regarding relegation and promotion . I am west orientated and think of the West but decisions that are made that affect the West, positive or negative quite rightly apply to the East as they are at the same tier, the same goes for the SOSFL, (yes i do not think this association should be at tier 6 due to the low standard of football but they are here and entitled to be at tier 6 as that was their entry level as an association) (Personally - Way off in the future if it will ever happen but I would also like to see it changed amicably by whatever method but as long as it works out just East and West at tier 6, will make everything a whole lot easier, East champions play West champions or Both East and West champions promoted with two down from the LL). There is no entitlement of teams of leagues should be higher than what they are or lower what they are, every team is equal as an entity and no matter what division they are in. The problem we have with certain higher divisions make decisions that affect lower down teams who cannot do anything about it. i.e Spfl2 teams and above can make decisions on relegation that effect LL and the LL cant do that much about it. LL make decisions about relegation and the leagues below WOSFL, EOSFL and SOSFL cannot do much about it. I say my peace on here why, because I actually go and been to games in the WOSFL, SOSFL, EOSFL, LL, HL, NL and ML or watched teams from those leagues play after covid, most areas listed before covid. I will say, lots of supporters , especially in the Highland and Lowland have that attitude, (and this is from chatting with a lot), about the upstarts from below and I think to myself, WTF have they been reading or who they been listening too. I think there should be a fair promotion and relegation throughout ALL divisions in our Scottish Pyramid to make it one of the most competitive Pyramid systems out there but it is not fair and anyone who is objective I would expect the same answer anyone else who says differently has alternative or ulterior views. One final thing, In regards to this thread and what the OP is saying, I would say is totally wrong and go as far as saying a silly view, if totally meant. ffs we could get a teams from the Lowland league offering kick backs to clubs to resign to help their own club or clubs lower down offering kickback to higher league clubs so they can benefit. The way its structured just now will suffice to see who goes down, if any goes down so play out the season as normal
  5. Agreed with your assessment here Yes I think its ridiculous what the Op is asking or stating. Your comment that I have put in bold is that its been a few years for these two in the relegation end but it should be by the normal conventional way of relegation that they are demoted. We are in a situation in this competitive league which is wrong, (no automatic relegation), the bottom team, actually the bottom two should be relegated, you finish last your moved out but both could be saved this season. Think everyone is agreed that the bottom performing teams which everyone expected again is Edinburgh Uni and Gretna and I cant see any changes until they are both relegated over a few seasons One thing is we have to remember, everything could change for a team who are in despair, any team, a major sponsor, a new chairman, committee, a new manager, players etc.. Just let it run its course and see who is relegated over the next few years as most that I expect to be relegated over the next 5 years from the Lowland league I don't expect them to be back anytime soon
  6. I'm totally lost, its defiantly not theirs to throw away, in facts its other teams league to throw away, so haven't got a clue what you are on about If St Cadocs win their games in hand which they are capable of then they go one point ahead of Clydebank and if Beith win their games n hand which they are capable of then they go a cpl of points ahead of St Cadocs, so to me the league is wide open
  7. Errm sorry, but you continually said my facts were wrong and you have even elaborated, the two little dittos, it was George Frazer instead of Tom brown who made final deciding vote but that is nothing to do with the corruption of Tom Brown going on the official catch up podcast and saying that no matter what Highland league and Lowland league vote, the conference league is coming. He is either delusional or he has been told to do so for benefits but he is the chairman of the Lowland league and still is and should not be in charge of the Lowland league, makes it look so corrupt and putting down Neil as the SFA instead of the SPFL a type mistake but both governing bodies joined together to push it through. These people should not be in power as they are not interested in the benefit of all of Scottish football but guys like you are just brushing it under the carpet and making comments personable and I believe i haven't made it personal, I've tired not too and if i have I'm sorry but I am right. I was actually listening to the recorded audio of gm of the WOSFL, 23rd of April, (sure that's the date, will confirm later) when Maxwell made his speech and its mental, how he is in power you just couldn't write it. There are assholes on here, some at clubs, some even in positions and think they know it all, its a forum, people put points across, views etc.. and I didn't start it, was someone else when i read back who was wrong and I emphasized and that's how this section discussion went and low and behold, i was right all along about the points and you as well as the others who have personally attacked haven't admitted that the facts I presented were right and at the end of the day, Guys like Neil Doncaster, Ian Maxwell and Tom Brown who have made, at the very least, dishonest decisions and of cohersion to say the least, are still in their positions of trust ffs
  8. What are you talking about? who am I slagging off, go on, let us all know, this will be good
  9. Who says I'm part of a club, ffs Just bring things that are dishonest or corruption, (whatever way you think it is) to the front as they have been ignored and shouldn't be ignored as it will happen again with the same people in power
  10. Thanks for that, I did not know about that one, it just piles up either anyone thinks its dishonesty or corruption, its definitely all wrong and they should not be in their levels of power making decisions about our football
  11. Oh ffs, not you as well, its not about the conference league ffs, well all know the conference league aint happening. its about people who have been dishonest in levels of power and still functioning. Everyone seen sense, most teams in Scotland came together and made them bin it, (which was amazing) but they will try and think of some other plan in a few years time
  12. Oh I'll crack on , don't you worry, when i say I'm wrong, i don't mind being wrong. I have given facts with dates and it has been totally ignored. I hope none of these ignorant people who try to make it personal are part of a team in some capacity as I'm sure the team are at that level due to antics like theirs. Cowdenleith, if someone gives me information that he or she says is facts, i'll think of it and say no it isn't true or yes it is true but later I would go and check and confirm and yes, say he was right or was wrong. I have given details with dates and even series numbers and no one has replied on here saying its untrue, but just made personal attacks, that tells you enough. The personal attacks will continue but wont talk and check about the facts I've presented even to prove factually that I'm wrong but that wont happen as the facts are true, again, tells you enough and yes, if I was proven wrong i don't mind saying I'm wrong, no problem with it whatsoever
  13. Feel all you want, again another negative guy who tires to put people down, I've proved it, told you facts and dates and your last replies it to try and put the person down, like the poster above, shows you up as you don't listen to the truth, just sitting behind a keyboard trying to be negative and blindsiding. You wanted facts and you got them and you have ignored them and haven't disproved them all because it doesn't fit your narrative, tells everyone a lot
  14. lol, the facts are correct, your the one, not me, who is name calling, not even proving that I'm wrong, sitting behind a keyboard, high fiving yourself thinking your brill
  15. Yes as far as I'm aware the league can make their own vote on relegation but if they vote on it, they have to speak to the WOSFL, EOSFL and the SOSFL but then again there are many things the league need permission to sign off on by the SFA and suppose to a certain extent the SPFL as some would effect them directly in regards to promotion/relegation to and from both SPFL2 and LL. I'm sure someone at LL could put their knowledge to this as I'm sure it can be a minefield.
  16. your just saying words with nothing concrete, I've proven it, showed the reason why, the facts, dates etc.. and you have ignored it and try and put the poster down. Shows more about you that anything else. Yeah I believe its corrupt and you don't. They all tried to get B teams in a conferences league and it was dishonest to the extremes
  17. Pmsl, aye ok, is that your get out, saying a guy who doesn't know the difference between SFA and SPFL when you don't know him, you asked for the proof and sorry I came back late and typed it out, speaking to Maxwell personally a few times in the past and you could see his aim is to get to the top and stand on anyone/team in his way. You know what, this has all went on with the full knowledge of the top of the SPFL, (Neil Doncaster - chief executive of the SPFL), SFA, (Ian Maxwell - chief executive of the SFA) and of course Rangers and Celtic. The thing about you, is that your the sort of keyboard warrior on here if you dislike someone, even when they are right, which obviously I am, you always try the negative crap, one of the laughable things is Rangers pulling out of the conference league in a huff, so shafting their own boys , when days before saying the Lowland league is perfect for their young players development At the end of the day you know its true and if your denying it, even on here, well its showing you up, let others have their opinion of me as I know they will certainly have an opinion of you if they are of a clear mind.
  18. I understand the meaning of corruption, by sounds of it you don't. Here this might help you out> dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery. Tom brown is chairman of the Lowland league but he is telling everyone and the Lowland league that no matter what they do the conference is coming. that is just not a conflict of interests, its worse, why is he saying these things either he is delusional, (could be that), or (he's been told by other parties to make sure everyone gets onside with a yes vote) and he was that dumb, he said it on the official catch up that the conference was coming no matter what happens. My view, (and truly cannot understand how anyone would think otherwise), this is a guy in power is he being dishonest or fraudulent and what is the reason for this Neil Doncaster, the chief executive of the SFA, then becomes a director of a league that is not even formed and he pushes it, along with others to have it formed. As his main job is chair executive of the SFA is this not a conflict of interests. Again A guy in power is he being dishonest or fraudulent and what is the reason for this, well he did become a director of a company that he wanted inserted into the Scottish pyramid league at tier 5. It is scary how people like you and others on previous posts are totally ignoring this. Genuinely no wonder Scottish Football is the way it is with people having all their own agenda that fecks up Scottish Football
  19. Pmsl, aye Ok Neil Doncaster the SFA chief executive is named as director of the 'Scottish Conference league Limited' incorporated in 9th May 2023. No wonder he tried to keep his mouth shut and have Maxwell be the front of the main push. Yeah and he became director to make sure it was run correctly. Sorry if this is not corruption then i do not know what is. What would you call it, Brazil Forever? friendly banter Tom Brown who did not have the casting vote to incorporate B teams into the Lowland league, was the chairman who said on the official Catchup Podcast, (23rd Aprfil 2023 Series #123) That the conference league was going ahead no matter what Highland league voted for or what the Lowland league, (he is chairman of), no matter what they voted for. No is that is not a conflict of interests in regards to his role as chairman of the Lowland league. Sorry if this is not corruption then i do not know what is. What would you call it, Brazil Forever? friendly banter Civil Service Strollers were the team, I'm informed, that voted that relegation should not be looked into for the Lowland league until the SPFL2 open up relegation, is this self preservation or knowing that it is shafting's the rest of Scottish football from tier 6 down
  20. Anyone can get promotion if they are run well, good management, good intelligent committee,, good ideas to grow the club and or money to spend etc... if it was true that teams like Cowdenbeath, East Stirlingshire, Berwick Rangers etc.. had above in the club then there would be a good chance they would not have been relegated from the SPFL2 but they were, same as any team that has been relegated, just not run as well as the teams who have not been relegated. Agreed most wont vote for things that will put their team on a shaky nail even if they know there will be a backlash for voting NO for automatic relegation. Every one of us has a view on why the relegation and promotion should be for each division in the Scottish Pyramid System
  21. So Bonnyrigg and Kelty have good management, good money and were organized. Of course there can be automictic regulation, two down and the champions of Highland and Lowland go up and the 3rd bottom place of the SPFL2 playoff against the winners of 2nd place Lowland and Highland, That means 3 teams relegated form a 10 team league and what's wrong with that. Season 21/22 in the WOSFL premier division had a 20 team league and 7 were relegated, one of the best and most exciting season ever and you didn't know who was being relegated until the final kick of the ball in the 21/22 Play-off final between Tranent and Darvel. SO the comment, ONLY a ten team league doesn't wash
