I had a lot of job interviews in 2019 (far too fucking many). First one was for an opticians. Perfectly fine set up and people. However I knew I'd fucked it when they asked me what my strengths were and I proceeded to sit in utter silence for about 30-45 seconds. If there was ever a question to fail on spectacularly that was not the one. Had another for a supermarket where the interview went brilliantly (I'd done the exact role before so it was piss easy). However it was an early morning role and I didn't exactly live near but was hoping to move. Asked me to try and look for a place (which I did) and they would catch up with me in a week or two to see if I was successful. Never heard from them again. It was a good job that I never found a place too. Also had another where the store manager was one of the co-interviewers. I actually admired her no bullshit, no nonsense persona but perhaps it would be better to not convey that in a interview where you're trying to get people to join your company.

I'm convinced some people say they hate Piers Morgan because they think they're meant to hate him and that any other feeling towards him must be wrong. If you actually listen to him you'd find yourself agreeing with him on a few things. And that's ok.

Absolutely no chance we qualify if the final is away. We need it to be at home. Serbia and Mitrovic would tear our defence apart (not that they would need to work hard to do that). Was sure we would have Bulgaria after Finland qualified. Why the f**k Hungary have now been chucked into the powder keg is beyond me.

The supermarkets are in a competition to see who can create the wankiest Christmas advert this year. Tesco seem to be the frontrunners but I've yet to see any of the others. It involves some Tesco delivery driver going about in a time travelling delivery van delivering shopping to famous c***s like Winston Churchill, some junkie at an underground rave and then his own family, before having his dinner in his uniform. It's pretty much a certainty the final will have either Norway or Serbia in it now. Absolutely no chance in hell we'll beat Serbia away. Mitrovic would tear our shite defence apart. However If we somehow manage to get our act together to a reasonable standard then I do think we could beat them at home.

Pretty much a certainty we won't be playing Finland now after Bosnia lost tonight against Greece. Means Finland just have to beat Liechtenstein at home to qualify now. Not understanding the desperation to avoid Norway. Yes they've got a couple of good results the last few days but they've obviously had some poor ones too or they wouldn't be fourth in their group. That being said I wouldn't want to go there for the final if we made it but let's face it, we're going to get at least tough opponent.

Was absolutely convinced Mercedes were going to screw Bottas out of that win by letting Hamilton stay out. Glad that they didn't as he deserved it. With regards to Ferrari, if it isn't the team messing up it's the drivers. Carlos Sainz really is doing a phenomenal job this season.
