It’s patently obvious from the first 2 games (plus the league cup performances) that we will be nearer the bottom of the league than the top this season. All courtesy of Mr Caldwell.

    Utter nonsense.

not arguing with your assessment of the team's chances but Caldwell's  playing without a budget to improve his squad.      You honestly think that given the choice that would have been his front line tonight?

I'm the opposite. Im hoping this will last another 6 or 7 weeks.

Far more entertaining than the pish served up on the pitch. Maybe by that time Caldwell will be out the door.

This Caldwell thing you have.     Is it purely because Doolan was released?

To my mind the team,  squad and overall performances are an improvement on what he inherited from Archibald

This morning convinced my pal to fly up from Coventry for his first game of the season, a drunken away day to Arbroath. Booked his flights then this news comes hours later. Seething is an understatement.

I had two caravans booked.   Nine of us were going to make a weekend of it.    Couldn't book Corporate (best I've ever done) but there's a McDonald's next to the Caravan Park

Touche, Prof. The shouting match in the Thistle fans forum has raised an interesting point about the shareholding the Jags Trust has.

I was under the impression the Jags Trust cannot sell its shareholding or cannot sell without board approval. Does anyone know if this is the case? Are all share transfers or share sales subject to boardroom approval?

I'm fairly certain that this was the arrangement agreed when the shares were being allocated.

I guess the appeal of fan involvement in the running of Thistle was gone about seven or eight years after Save The Jags. It went from an open door to ill concealed hostility - for whatever reason. With that, it became a regular old business where the fans/customers were consulted at point of sale.

Nothing I'll conceived about the hostilty.

  7. McMaster passed his on to his children so it's reasonable to assume that that's where a fair proportion

of the 55% shareholding comes from.

As said, shares provided solely to ensure safe stewardship of the club for future generations suddenly became

payment in kind for work done during 'Save the Jags'.
