  1. Can just hear his press release now.. ''Whilst it has been an absolute privilege and honour to have had the opportunity to manage this great club, I feel I have taken it as far as I can, given the very limited resources at my disposal.'' Fkg useless.
  2. Rangers will not win the league See you upstairs in 2015 ETA 5-4-1 McCoist
  3. Surely any player Leeds Utd want, has to be wanted by Aberdeen.
  4. I don't know what you mean by that but apparently No8 has been receiving threats from some of the less enlightened element of the Rangers' support, for not renewing ST and encouraging others not to too. They posted a pic of him online, as a we know who you are statement. Knobs.
  5. I know it's off topic but have you binned your Hellbhoy persona completely now? I kinda miss him.
  6. Shocking stuff for old 8 and I sincerely hope nothing further comes from it. Can't imagine they'd be too impressed with my own story. Luckily I trust my mates and family to keep a secret but there will be no more snippets of personal info on here from me. I never hung out with the bampot element anyway.
  7. I think V Rangers at Ibrox for my baptism, would be a bridge too far. Small steps and all that.
  8. I'm not going into it again on here, as it just seems to bring out the worst in some of the more pathetic posters. Check my profile, it's pretty much all there. I won't change back no and as the club I now support have just been relegated and will be operating prudently, I didn't change for glory.
  9. Hey man, I'd be interested to know how you came to the conclusion that I was ever a scummy type of supporter. I've always considered myself a decent person and supporter and whilst always up for banter, it was always good humoured, never, never scummy. In all my time supporting a football team, that's exactly what it was, supporting a football team, nothing more nothing less. There are scummy people among all supports, I've found that most of the real bitter types, don't actually go to games too.
  10. No I don't. The guy asked, I answered. What happened to your wee brother Maxsta btw?
  11. It was less than a year ago, when he certainly troubled the England defence. I don't think he'll struggle in a Scottish diddy league. Only continued off the field shenanigans will pose a serious threat to Rangers getting back to the top league next year, anyone thinking otherwise is deluded. You're probably right about the penalties though, I've always said that if Rangers look like being de-railed, the SFA will step in one way or another. It's actually one of the things I got fed up with. No favour should be given to any club regardless of fan base.
  12. No but it is well documented on here, that I am a convert, which seems to make me a leper to some but I refuse to deny it. I could just close this account and start again but what's the point? I'm not ashamed of my decision.
  13. I think you'll find that the stereotype you have described - if it exists - never went to games anyway. I can't see Rangers getting pumped by anyone next season unless they get Celtic in a cup tie. Outwith Celtic none of the top league clubs will want to be drawn with any of Hearts, Hibs or Rangers in the cups next season IMO. I'd particularly relish a Hearts V Aberdeen tie myself, knocking the big pretenders out in an early round would be so sweet. Looks like my first outing in Hearts' colours will be a close season testimonial V St Johnstone, that'll get me into the swing of it just fine.
  14. Agreed. Maxsta truly is the lowest common denominator and thankfully not representative. Edit for spelling the wee p***k's name wrong. You just got to show some respect you know.
  15. I believe he was once considered to be ''cute'' but he certainly hasn't weathered very well. No excuse, considering he was a pro athlete and is very rich.
  16. Gomis is a good signing and Levein knows him well from signing and working with him at Utd. Alexander's a top keeper and I don't imagine he'll be getting offered anything like the daft money he was on at Rangers.
  17. I've assumed (as any other explanation would make you a muppet) you're actually referring to the occasion of Motherwell getting access to CL, in place of Rangers. This was nothing to do with Liquidation or any part of the club's insolvency event. This was a direct result of Craig Whyte not presenting up to date accounts by the UEFA licencing deadline. In fact he didn't submit any at all. This resulted in UEFA refusing to licence Rangers for that one season and the licence went to Motherwell. It most certainly had fk all to do with going into liquidation.
  18. Look mate, I mean no offence but I just don't know if I'm ready to have the maddest Celtic fan on the board, standing up for me.
  19. I'm not going to allow myself to get drawn into this pish. It's tedious and really doesn't concern me anymore.
  20. I've only ever supported the one club. The way I see it, I won't have become a Hearts supporter until I've cheered the team on in a match for the first time. I've a wee bit of waiting to do yet. Technically, I'm between clubs and when I get there it will only have been my second club in 14yrs.
  21. Sorry, I disagree. First of all, I think the situation with Rangers, is in this country, unprecedented and so comparison with how other clubs' support may feel at times is not appropriate. Let's be honest, how do we get to be fans of a particular club? I would think mainly through family and peer influence, right? I was taken to my first game by my father, at 9yrs old he wouldn't allow me to go to matches on my own or with same age pals, so, as he was a Rangers fan that's who I was going to see. Most of the other kids at my school were also Rangers fans and probably for the same reason as myself. So how many of us actually made a choice that we can honestly say was our choice? I actually had a workmate who was brought up as a Celtic fan - and he really was full on btw - who moved to Perth around 2 yrs ago and I met him about 6x months later at a Rangers v St Johnstone game. He had become a Perth Saint Now as adults, we have all made what we find to be, poor choices and wrong decisions and we try to rectify these, so why should a choice we made at 9yrs old or younger and wasn't even actually our choice in the first place, be stuck with us for life when it is changeable. I must stress the decision has not been easy but the last 2x years have been awful and the continued focus on 'off-field' issues is just too much. My father passed 3 yrs ago and so, thankfully missed it all. I'm no longer a kid and don't feel the need to be tied to decisions, that were made - on my behalf - when I was. There's also 'stuff' that goes with being a supporter of either of the OF, that we should all grow out of too. It's been said to me, that it can be similar with Hearts and Hibs but I've certainly not seen this with my girlfriends's family who seem to mix with Hibs fans socially. They are of course, currently all ripping the piss out me but it's good natured banter and that's cool. Some of the Rangers fans on here are daft weans and some of the others just help me justify my decision really. They're the true cretins. I'm cool with it all.
  22. Song and dance? Aye right. I'm responding to the daft pish been posted by you and others regarding the choice I've made. Been around here longer than you pal and your first line gives credence to the notion of Rangers fans that is held by the majority of other clubs' support - that we're they are all thick morons - so well done you. Not offended btw. As for respect, as long as I have it from my family, friends and my lass, I don't give a fk.
  23. So me being totally hacked off and disillusioned with all the pish at Rangers, I decide to say enough's enough and give my support to a team, which will actually be my local team by the time that they play their next game, makes me a pathetic cretin. Whereas you are? Aye you just go off and spend your season ticket money, glory hunting over 200mls away. All this pish that you can never change allegiance from one football club to another, kind of flies in the face of the ''support your local team, don't be a glory hunter'' ethos. I gave plenty to Rangers but the wool has been lifted from my eyes and I'm moving on. I love football and I'm not turning my back on my club ''because the going got tough'' or ''the club's going through a sticky patch''. It's a complete basket case and I found it more and more embarrassing trying to defend it. Sure the owners, past and present have been responsible for a lot of it but there have been other major contributions. Stand up and take a bow, the legend that is - Super Ally. What an absolute prat of a man and a total liability as a manager. Where the club is today and where it has been for the last 2x seasons, has plenty to do with his ineptitude and yet he is still revered by the masses. His pronouncements to the press and rallying calls to the support, are almost always a cringe fest. Which brings us to:- The support, with all it's various factions and spokespersons, even those represented on here - including to my shame, me - have been quite ridiculous in their/our sabre-rattling arrogance. Like I said, changing clubs, a big decision certainly but pathetic and cretinous? I don't think so. If we're treated badly by our employer, we change jobs, if our marriage/relationship has broken down, we divorce/move on. Rangers just doesn't work for me anymore. Maybe I've just grown up.
