  1. There is no structure or pattern to our play. There were times when we were running around like schoolkids , incapable of reading what Dundee were going to do, or what was expected of us. To lose a comical 3rd goal (I know the others were shit defending as well) straight from the kick off shows lack of concentration and ability. These boys are earning a living from football and don't set out to be crap but consideration of a career change might be in order. Never mind, on to Tuesday,.
  2. If that is the general opinion of Motherwell fans and we couldn't lay a glove on you then Livi are well and truly f*cked.
  3. The problem is that being out of form was not just consigned to last night. He has been looking lost for a number of weeks and this thinking that he is a right wing back just compounds the issue. Don't think he knows what he should be doing , certainly not strong enough, despite his build, to break up any opposing move in front of him. Time to ring the changes and get others a chance. I would rather see us losing having a right good go as opposed to conceding a goal and not having a plan B. Expect there are a few frustrated players on the bench that will be looking elsewhere for their football next season.
  4. I was not able to see if Sangare was offside but if he was then OK but both ref and the main stand assistant missed it. Up for debate if that is an " obvious error". The call was for handball and then root cause for VAR intervention was changed. Its killing the game and I would like to see it punted. Let the refs do their job and if mistakes happen then we can all greet and moan over our beer in the pub. Way things are going we won't need to moan much longer as its not in the Championship.
  5. I'd suggest selecting a team without players who have contributed next to he -haw in the last 4 to 5 weeks and give others a chance. Thought that was clear enough in my post.
  6. I've just about had it with Martindales myopic loyalty to Shinnie, Sean Kelly and Nouble . Struggling to find any positive about their performances today and it has been like that for weeks. The constant thumping the ball up the park brings zero results other than it coming straight back to us. Steven Kelly and Bradley are questionably two of our most talented players but they are bench warmers at the moment. Two full backs in Brandon and MacKay looking on when we were getting ripped time and time again down our right hand side today but the tactics did not change. If we don't get a result against Ross County I think we will be looking upwards at 11 teams above us for most of the season.
  7. Agree that Shamal has had a few dodgy moments and he does give me the fear at times. However, with a defence that couldn't keep hens out of a close in front of him, he has my sympathy.
  8. Same old, same old. Why wait until we go behind before changing things. If the guys were not considered to be the answer at the start what makes the manager think that they will do the business with 15-20 mins to go?
  9. No strikers in the team, set up not to lose, but we know how this goes. Seen it far too often. Playing a team that shipped 5 goals midweek and we are not going to have a go, disgraceful.
  10. We have to be capable of having a shot at goal before even thinking about getting our own back. You were well worth the 3 points today. Thought Tiffony changed things when he came on. Someone willing to run at our ( dreadful) defence.
  11. Having been a season ticket holder for 20+ years ( apart from one when Massone was at the helm) I say welcome to Baycup and John McIlvogue. I hope you have the vision and clout to help Livingston FC to the next stage in its growth. To all the fans of other teams who see this as an opportunity to have another dig at the club, get it round ye. I thank you.
  12. Sorry, walk up prices last season were £25 Adult, £17 Concession, for all games and, I believe, the season before. Source - Official Club Site
  13. See that we have decided to categorise our home games dependant on the opposition. We've operated a flat rate of £25 for an adult irrespective of the opposition but needs must , I suppose, when it comes to increasing funding. I'm all for taking £30 from the Glasgow pair but anyone think that 20% increase could put off walk up home fans ? Any views?
  14. Curtis Main reportedly rejected new contract at St Mirren. Was a pain in our side last season but out of our price range I think.
  15. In fairness, there are a few who could fall into that category as well. Guthrie has contributed the sum total of zero since he arrived. Watched Partick / QP the other night and Thistle had the luxury of taking off two strikers and bring another 2 on. I'm a fan of Nouble but he's no out and out striker. Playing him there makes him less effective. This has been mentioned on various threads before, but Martindale persists whil leaving Anderson on the bench.
  16. Christopher Berra happened. Imagine that as our " defence" coach. Deary me.
  17. Well done Saints on making the top 6. The result today was a bit of a surprise but you have enough about you to pick up acouple of wins in the last 5 games. Enjoy.
  18. Put more succinctly than my original post. Beaton had made a decion on both penalty incidents that he had not seen any infringements which would have led to the award of a penalty. He was happy but a faceless 5th official decided he was wrong. It gets to the stage where its a case of " I'm not sure and if I'm wrong VAR will bail me out" And if it was clear cut it should not take 4 minutes to sort it out.
  19. From my angle behind the goals I thought they were 2 penalties, pulling arm away or not. I certainly would be screaming for them if it was in our favour. What's annoying is that Beaton missed both instances and VAR called him to account. Both St Mirren stands on either side of the pitch shouted for them at the same time so it was obvious to them but not the ref who was considerably closer to both incidents. The games being run/ ruined by VAR not the refs. I cannot shout at VAR as its in some darkened room in the depths of goodness knows where monitored by another incompetent.
