  1. To be fair i'm not one of the worst types of students. I don't live on loans and i have a part-time job also. Still, a student is a student.
  2. I never thought that my 'petty nag' would cause such an uproar. What the fact i am a student has to do with it is beyond me, i'm lazy regardless! On the plus side the canteen at the back of the hall was actually open, you just had to take a longer route round to it. Two rolls and sausage, a bottle of Irn Bru and a free Metro newspaper. AWLRIGHT!
  3. I am at University and the cafeteria in this building is shut due to exams being held in there as it is a large room. I decided therefore to get something from the vending machines as i am starving. It was then i realised that i have no change on me whatsoever. I need to do an essay so i'm going to be in University for some time today and am faced with the choice of enduring my hunger or walking the 7 minutes to the other building in the freezing cold for food. Then having to walk back again.
  4. Normally i am game for a nice overtaking manouevre but sometimes it just isn't possible without almost definately ploughing headlong into another vehicle.

    Gigs

I think myself and Neilly are going to try and get tickets for The Rifles in March next year. Fairly cheap and should be a good night. I'll think about booking more gigs when i have some cash to spare though. December/January are ridiculously busy for me!
  6. I get irritated by people that drive at 30/40mph in 60mph zones also. There is no call for it whatsoever and all it does is hold everybody behind them up.

    Gigs

Another gig in the pipeline now is Richard Ashcroft with Dubya after the good man Marrez gave us his uneeded tickets. Absolutely superb all told. Especially when it is free. Bubba is your Kasabian ticket for standing or seating. The ones we have are for seating but i intend to get in the standing area somehow.

    Gigs

The Paul Weller gig is a no go sadly as The Barrowlands website reports it is sold out. Tickets Scotland didn't have a sold out notice on it so i'd assumed it wasn't. I'll probably go and see The Complete Stone Roses in the next few weeks instead.

    Gigs

I think a few of the Loyal are considering a jaunt to see Paul Weller at the end of this month at The Barrowlands. I'm also thinking about going to see The Complete Stone Roses with Neilly but that one is on the back burner for now. Speaking of gigs, Fudge, do you want to go and see Paul Weller? And i also have your money for my Kasabian ticket put aside now, so i'll give you it the next time i see you.

    Gigs

I have picked up a ticket for Ocean Colour Scene on the 20th December at The Barrowlands. That and Kasabian supported by The Fratellis are the only two gigs i have in the pipeline however. I might have a look around later for any other good ones coming up.
  11. The craze in which people start numerous parody threads of an original with rhyming titles. Example being the 'snails', 'Wales' and 'veils' thing. I just don't get it...
  12. I wouldn't class the street next to Tesco in Stirling as the Raploch. Infact, i'm pretty certain that isn't the Raploch, admittedly i could be wrong but like i say i am fairly certain...
  13. Heat - 7.5/10 A good film this, although for me it didn't quite reach the level i thought it might. I wanted to give it 8/10 or above badly but i couldn't bring myself to do so. I felt one or two aspects of the film fell into place a little too easily devaluing the storyline and at times i felt it a tad unrealistic although i know in action movies realism will not always be strived for. A very good cast however and some impressive individual performances. Overall this is a good action movie that definately will not disappoint, it just doesn't have that certain something to make it a great movie rather than a good movie, in my opinion anyway.

    Gigs

That whole night was class and met a few decent lads in the Counting House beforehand. Certainly 'Lethal' was a top bloke. The gig itself was absolute carnage and i got right into the swing of things diving around everywhere. I went right to the other side of the floor and jumped around with some chaps i've never met before then made my way back through the crowd at the end. For the last two songs i was at the very front after pushing my way through! You're not just a number, upon a computer!
  15. People letting you down all the time with lack of keeping promises and a lack of willingness to act like friends are actually meant to.
