  1. I had £1 4-folds and 5-folds on Stenhousemuir, St Johnstone, Dumbarton, Cowdenbeath and Liverpool to be winning at half time on Saturday. All obliged bar the shortly priced Liverpudlians and the winning 4-fold returned a very decent £79.
  2. An 88th minute Forfar equaliser done me out of a £50 win on a £5 treble. I did however make a decent wedge on the Liverpool game. Had Torres not had his third disallowed it would have been even better!
  3. £5 on Blackburn, Peterhead, Stenhousemuir and Montrose returned £36 for me on Saturday. Not a bet in keeping with large singles i have previously placed but i am quite skint so was relatively pleased if i'm honest even though it isn't a huge win.
  4. I was going to bet on this as i always mean to with your recommendations and somehow managed to forget until now when i came back to check where it finished. Well done though old boy!
  5. I turned £20 into £200 at roulette yesterday which more than made up for my losing £80 single on Chelsea. Which was a nice feeling as i hate a big losing day, then again doesn't everyone?!
  6. £20 on Stranraer to beat Dumbarton returned £46. £20 on Middlesbrough to beat Arsenal at half time when they were 1-0 up returned £41.
  7. £20 on Stenhousemuir to beat Dumbarton at the weekend came in as a winner at 5/4. £45 return was lapped up.

I am going to that Complete Stone Roses gig too along with Dubya, Neilly and Fudge. I'd avoid us at all costs if i were you.
  9. Fingers crossed. Never felt so 'small' before in my life.
  10. Finding out your girlfriend of 5 months is masquerading as a singleton and chatting up guys via the internet. Being made redundant isn't amazing either. Both have happened to me in a week.

I also enjoyed The Rifles hugely although missed some of the set as Neilly says. I asked the Liam Gallagher lookalike why he was copying Liam but didn't understand his muttered answer before he walked away. On reflection i am lucky he didn't knock me out. I have to agree that the gig was very good and their sound was great live. Local Boy probably being the stand out song!

The Rifles - March 3rd Milburn - April 30th Nothing else in the pipeline just yet...
  13. Dead Man's Shoes 8/10 Very good film from an up and coming director this. An intense performance by Paddy Considine really made the film. Although i felt the story was maybe slightly convenient in places (when the older guy is shot, i forget his name), it was still superb and the storyline in general was very very well written and interesting. The violent murders were well thought out i felt that the whole 'Gas Mask' thing helped create a very eerie atmosphere at times which lifted the film. Thanks to the film i now know what Cheyne Stoking means also. I recommend this to be watched by anybody as it one of the better British films out there, i picked it up for £5.99 on DVD.

I'm going to see Ocean Colour Scene tonight at The Barrowlands. I'll report back tomorrow after work with how it went chaps.
  15. I get annoyed by when people moan at you about things when you're the one who's put the effort into doing them for both yourself and them. I was unbelievably pleased when a mate said a few weeks ago "Jammy, see if you never arranged anything we'd be screwed, thanks" or words to that effect. It's commonplace to not even get thanked sometimes.
